A bitter sweetness took over every inch of Rimona at finding herself a vampire once again, which indicated bits of the veil were still woven together. There was mass relief in that, too. Not for the fact that she had come to terms with her decision to choose humanity, a self preserving move she had used several times over the decades. It was more for how many were spared by this tiny bit of stitching that held them all together. Yes, slight disappointment muttered at the back of her mind at the reversal— but she would eventually make peace with her existence like this once again. “You’re, as they say,” a warm tone despite her personal turmoil, charcoal hues lighting up as they caught the frame of Anders, “A sight for sore eyes.” One she was certain would perish with the storms and leave her original efforts to save him wouldn’t have even mattered.
