oh truuuuuuuuust i know ALL about miyamoto im obsessed with her. i've got an art tag and ship tag for her and madame boss (giovanni's mom) LOL. i've been wanting her to show up in the anime since i was 12 😭 never happened but it be like that

a pokemon au where mew is found by Jessie's mother Miyamoto (probably renamed Miya in the English version) and agrees to go with her. using telepathy to communicate just as Mewtwo did years later.

Miya's love for Jessie, her child, is what convinces mew to go, as mew is planning to create a child of their own via asexual reproduction which is how all mew are born.

mew is the last of their kind and does not wish for their future child to be another of a long dead species it will have never known. mew instead wishes to be the final mew and their child to be something new entirely created in part by them and by human sciences.

Mew travels with Miya back to kanto, disguised as a common and unassuming pokemon like a pidgey or meowth. when they reach team rocket and Madame boss, mew tells her that they consent to be part of her goals.

But they warn Madame boss to not cross them as they are the most powerful pokemon in the world and, if threatened, they will strip Madame boss's flesh from her bones. Madame boss is greedy, but no fool and agrees.

Madame boss, Miya, mew, little Jessie, and Giovanni (who is in his late teens) set up on cinnabar island. there the team rocket scientists use genetic engineering to edit the baby mew during development into a completely new species, which they call Mewtwo.

Miya and mew develop a strong friendship, as both are loving parents who would do anything for their children.

Mewtwo is born peacefully and raised by his parent, with team rocket using the scientific knowledge they gained during the process to make buttloads of money. this satisfies Madame boss and slowly team rocket becomes less evil and more of just a scientific research company.

Giovanni, as still an impressionable young man, finds an almost surrogate mother relationship in mew. they help him understand that his own mother's emotional neglect are not his fault and that his brilliant mind and passionate drive can take him anywhere.

years later, he has control of team rocket and it is one of the most effective and ethical organizations in the world. the company works to gain new knowledge about pokemon and further the positive relationships between them and humans.

Jessie, having grown up as his side and like family now, is his right hand woman. her fierce, fiery love for pokemon ensures that no one dares to harm one under her command.

she finds meowth by chance and is amazed at his ability to speak, which he of course learned to impress another meowth. the two become absolute best friends and bicker all the time.

James ran away from home in his early teens and was taken in by a team rocket shelter, his growlithe growly forever at his side. there he showcases his ingenious mechanic skills and quickly becomes a highly successful member of the company. he and Jessie meet and it's truly love at first sight. both are gender fluid and end up married many years later, with meowth and wobbuffett as their closet companions.

Madame boss eventually finds reconciliation with her son and retires to a peaceful life with Miya, the two of them having been lovers since before Miya found mew.

as for mew and Mewtwo, they come and go as they please. No one but the scientists at cinnabar island know of their existence and they like to keep it that way.

and because of mewtwo's positive relationship with both his parent and the humans who helped make him, he never has a doubt in his mind about who he is and what he is supposed to be in this world.

it's the ship between Miyamoto (jessie's mom) and Madame Boss (giovanni's mom)! they're characters exclusive to a radio drama that acts as a prologue to the first pokemon movie. Madame Boss is the founder of Team Rocket and Miyamoto was one of her best agents. They appear to be VERY close and friendly with one another (in comparison to giovanni and his agents).
