no matter how things got ugly with steve and his rivals, stephanie vowed to herself that she would never get between them. that was, until, she saw what happened to steve. god, she wanted to scream and punch a wall. (all harrington’s have that angry quality), nonetheless, she kept the peace; up until then, stephanie remained pretty calm. working at the police department and whatnot kept her busy, of course. then came the day she came across billy, steve's rival, tormentor, whatever he was. she aimed on confronting him, regardless of what steve says.

"---and who the hell do you think you are?" she goes, her hand balled into a fist, eyes blazing at the other male. she was angry, ready to strike, however, she reminded herself of what steve said. "you're lucky we didn't decide to sue."

interest peaked, chris turned his head, jaw dropped just a little as he gave her the beginnings of a grin.  “oh yeah?  well...war it is.”  he grinned before swinging the pillow clutched in his hand at her, hitting her in the shoulder as a mad scientist worthy cackle fell out into the air.

"i like seeing you smile." - kara

compliments were a drug.  he loved them.  ice tipped his chin up, eyes flickering with appreciation as he raised an eyebrow just barely.  “then i guess you should see it more often?”  he prompted, licking his lips in a moment of true winning as he watched the woman with devoted attention.

"this is the part where you apologize." - kara

ice frowned, his arms crossing across his chest as he narrowed his eyes at the woman, his gaze flickering from one iris to the other.  “and what am i apologizing for?”  he asked, an eyebrow raising in question as he kept his gaze intently on hers.

"you're a terrible flirt you know." - from kara lol

a frown instantly settled over his features, rolling his shoulders back as he tipped his chin up.  his pride was called into question.  his flirting was far from terrible.  “i am not.  i’m clearly good enough, foster.”  he reminded, raising an eyebrow a little as he drew his sunglasses down across his nose to watch her.

“Dean....please.”

It was a pathetic attempt.  Dean wasn’t going to leave her- no matter how extreme the situation or how much she begged.  A single tear rolled down her cheek as her beaten body lays against him, her head falling on his chest.  She was so tired and the amount of blood she’d lost was making her head ring.  

“There’s a door in the back,” Gwen whispered softly, one last effort.  “T-they wouldn’t know....p-please....t-they could come in any minute....please.”

She hums and leans into his touch,a habit of hers. She had a rough day,and needed this,needed time with him. Just them. No Verna,no Drayton yelling at either of them about the door just two friends who are close enough to be considered dating if you didn't know them and saw them together in town - which was rare,most time was spent at home where it was safe,and with Jed,she felt the safest. 

She's snuggling into his side now as they're just laying down on the grass,underneath a willow tree looking up at the moon. It was a beautiful night and she wanted nothing more than to spend it with him after the day she had. She lifts her head up from his chest,small sleepy smile on her face and green hues lit up by the light from the moon.

“Okay.  That one was pretty good.  Where’d you learn that one?”
