why is it ok so have so many ships like creed, tarty, rester, tonah, and all that shit but not okay to ship wonah???????????? like that’s the only ship like those that i’ve ever seen get a large amount of hate but it’s completely unwarranted???

i just keep hoping that those kids are okay! the children on the show need to be protected. they all need trauma specialist to talk to... it’s horrifying!

Alright so Andi Mack Theory pt. 2

So Josh just really came out here making us lose our minds like that wow. His influence. Anyways. He said that episode 12 would be when we'd find out something we've been wanting to know badly. My guess is the wish because Luke wasn't filming for this episode, so Tyrus can't really be logical, and the wish is the only other significant thing we have been wildly curious about.

Now josh went on an answer spree and just started dropping hints via...food. Specifically "sandwiched" food. Now he said that these hints would require some mental gymnastics in order to decipher, and I've gotten part of this idea from other people, but consider: someone constantly being "sandwiched" between people, or more so stuck in the middle of a situation or people.

With this idea comes two theories of mine, which both relate back to the wish.

Theory 1: The wish is Jonah's and he's wishing to not be stuck in the middle of his parents fighting/divorce. Now since we know virtually nothing about Jonah or his family life, this could be a possibility. This would also explain why Jonah started having panic attacks, stopped playing frisbee, and stopped saying "docious magocious". It could be linked a storyline about maybe not depression, but something like that. Maybe a more lighter tone, but who knows.

Theory 2: The wish is Cyrus' and he wishes that he wasn't stuck in the middle of Andi and Buffy's drama. Which all considering: A) them being irrationally "protective" of him, B) their boy drama, and C) their friendship drama, wouldn't be too farfetched. I do however believe in this theory slightly less simply because of the reaction andi had to the wish and how she's been interacting with Cyrus. Well her and buffy both tbh. They've both been kinda lackluster in the GHC friendship because they've been preoccupied with their own drama. I don't think Andi's reaction would've been as surprised as it was if it Cyrus', because no offense to her, she seems to be a little more concerned with Jonah and everyone else that isnt Cyrus to really...care about it. I mean c'mon i don't even think she knows that Cyrus doesn't have a crush on Jonah anymore. But even still, if she's a decent person that cares about her friends (which i believe she is), then her reaction would be justifiable and I hope this would be the thing that would bring the GHC back together to the great and pure friendship it was before all the relationship drama got in the way :)

Okay, so I try not to get involved in drama, especially in the Andi Mack fandom, where the discourse is through the roof. But I’ve had it. There’s some real bullying and toxicity in this fandom, and that’s unacceptable.

Listen: you do not have to like TJ. You don’t have to ship Tyrus. You don’t have to ship Jyrus. You don’t need to love Amber. You don’t need to do any of that.

What you should not and frankly cannot do is send hate to other people because their opinions are different from your own. You cannot anonymously send “well you don’t like this character, so I don’t like you, so there!” to someone. Are you kidding me? Do you know how childish and rude that is? Imagine you really like dogs, but you like Golden Retrievers in particular, and you’re not too fond of Rottweilers. Someone comes up to you and says “well Rottweilers are the best, and Golden Retrievers are awful! Your opinions are trash and invalid”. It is literally the same thing.

I’m not sure why it’s so hard to remain positive and kind. This is a children’s show, and honestly, sometimes the fandom forgets that. We forget the importance of having a female Asian lead, while also talking about her culture and family life. We forget that teen pregnancy is an important part of the show. We lose sight of the fact that we are going to have the first gay couple on Disney Channel. We ignore the fact that therapy and panic attacks have been talked about. We are ignorant to the fact that one of the main characters struggles with people accepting her natural hair and that her mom is in the military. We forget that there are more important things than ships on this show.

You can choose to ignore this message. You can scroll by and continue to flood people’s inboxes with hate. You can continue to only care for and obsess over ships. But by doing that, you are ignoring some of the most important aspects of the show.

Why does TJ have to be “just friends” with Cyrus when he was literally brought in to BE his love interest???

Cyrus HAS had guy friends who he never crushed on: Marty and Gus

Buffy's upcoming arc with Jonah was written for Cyrus: A theory

There's no way it wasn't. Having 3 protagonists casually have the same crush that they realize season's apart is obviously not how the show was planned at first. The show has functionally retconned everything that happened this season... From the move to the Jandi to the crush confirmation, and we're back at the beginning, only this time with Buffy in Cyrus' shoes.

My conspiracy theory is that someone above Terri's head made them cut all Jyrus from the 2b last minute (maybe bc it was too gay or bc of Asher in Shazam or maybe bc it would involve Andi getting mad at Cyrus and they didn't want for her to come off as homophobic), and made the writers scramble to fix the patch in the season (which would explain some of the bizarre timeline, oddball plots this season, and complete lack of Cyrus and Jonah is the same room). They didn't want to throw away the Jonah 2nd love interest plot that they actually had planned out. The one that linked all of the stories together. And Buffy didn't have a love interest anyways, so they basically just tried for a do over.

Watch the Juffy arc closely, and if the plot feels smart and complicated and nuanced, unlike some of the stuff we've seen recently... Just know it was for Cyrus.

P.s. I think the show has nods to the fact that this was not supposed to happen ("Yeah, all two of them [Jonah's Expressions]", "Buffy doesn't like me???" "You've never had a crush")

All this being said... I don't hate Juffy, I just think that something clearly went wrong in the pre production stages that led to this decision

Are people? Calling Jyrus toxic? Because Jonah didn’t reciprocate Cyrus’ feelings? REALLY?

Listen, if you’re calling Jyrus toxic just cuz it was one-sided, honestly, you have a problem. First of all, you’re telling me you never had a one sided crush on anyone ever? And that this person didn’t reciprocate? Have you never had a crush on your friend and was too afraid to say it? You’re telling me Jonah is to blame in this? May I remind you that Cyrus never told Jonah bout his crush? The whole FANDOM knows Jonah is oblivious as heck, why are you giving him crap for this? Just because you prefer Tyrus? News flash, even IF Tyrus apparently both like each other, at some point, it was a one sided crush on either side. Wasn’t it toxic then too? After all, TJ did bully Cyrus’ friend... isn’t that toxic instead? It was “safer” when TJ apologized but before? Nah, fam, it was toxic. And I’m not saying that because I prefer Jyrus, I’m speaking the truth. Would YOU like someone who bullies your friend? I wouldn’t think so. So honestly Tyrus shippers calling Jyrus toxic because Jonah didn’t reciprocate when TJ bullied Buffy and probably didn’t reciprocate either... y’all need to get a life 🤧
