No but seriously someone help me out.. Wayne did the baby/tattoo thing. Now Zayn has done the baby/tattoo thing. Wayne has explained his reasons for the cover (his background and rough upbringing and what not). Zayn has yet to fully explain his reasons for the cover. Wayne has obviously SEEN the cover. I wouldn't be surprised if they even found a way to run it by him first seeing as they are so similar? Maybe? Either way he's seen it by now, and hasn't said a damn thing..... So why is everyone so offended when the person being copied or replicated or whatever, isn't offended? Who says Zayn hasn't given credit? He could've done so privately or personally. How would any of us know? We've heard snippets of Wayne in what could be a Pillow Talk remix, so there's obviously been some communication there (I THINK, not 100%) Either way, he feels confident enough to defend himself by making it clear that he's not trying to portray a rapper image or the Black culture like people are saying. I'm really trying to work this one out and it's not me being biased because I love me some Zayn. I just genuinely didn't think "OMG who does he think he is!" When I saw the cover.. & I'm thinking if someone like Ed Sheeran did an album with a baby pic and his sleeve of tattoos, (for whatever genre of music, whether it be pop, soul, or r'n'b.. he's Ed and he's amazing so he can do whatever) people wouldn't be saying shit - Even if he had tweeted saying people don't understand him. He would've done it because he has his reasons and his tattoos mean a lot to him, the same way they do to Zayn, the same way they do to Wayne. I dunno. Maybe I'm being ignorant. I really don't see past the tattoo thing being the theme as opposed to whatever else people are getting at. Zayn got every single tat he has in the 5 years he was with 1D. So he may not have been through the kind of hardships Wayne did for why he chose to make that his cover, but I'm not about to compare struggles. I hope he keeps it and I hope his spirit hasn't been put down too much.
