Four Hundred Followers!

I created this Tumblr a little under a year ago on 28 May 2013 and I've reached 400 followers today! :) About 95% of my followers are actually Sorato fans -- and I think that's a pretty big number for a pairing in a show that's been over for over a decade!

Thanks for sticking around and fangirling/fanboying Sorato with me this past year. And that goes to the Taito fans/Taiora fans/non-shippers who follow me, too (sorry for the massive amounts of Sorato!). ;)

Thank you also to Sora Takenouchi for following her heart to Yamato Ishida -- and thank you Yamato Ishida for being everything Sora Takenouchi ever wanted in a man and rocking her world. ;D

Why Sorato Is The Most Boring Couple In The History Of Ever by Aklee

Both are party poopers. All Sora ever does is nag and act as a hindrance to Taichi’s brilliant plans. All Yamato ever does is cry and mope and suffocate people with his over-protectiveness. Together they would kill fun.

Actually, Fun would probably watch them from afar and slowly lose the will to live until eventually imploding from the sheer monotony of their mind-dumbing interactions with one another.

And by "interactions", I mean the two or three sentences that they exchanged over the course of Adventure -- which were probably about Taichi anyway, because everything is about Taichi.

A.K.A. Taichi Yagami, The Most EPIC Character Ever And Without Whom All Ships Are Insignificant And Meaningless.

Yamato and Sora have no chemistry whatsoever. Their courtship comprised of giving one another store-bought chocolate and insisting that they weren’t jealous when the other went off with their more romantically-compatible friend.

They both have similar backstories, come from one-parent families, have difficulty with accepting themselves and their Crests . . . blah blah blah. All these similarities are lame. Empathy and understanding are lame. People who "get" one another are lame.

They are generally boring and unadventurous. The sex will be boring and unadventurous. Yamato may not actually be able to get it up on most days.

They don’t follow the typical "leading guy gets the leading girl" trope, and so there will be the obvious drabness that results when a show deviates from what is expected. That’s unacceptable. Only the familiar excites us.

. . . Because a sense of humour makes the world go 'round. ;)

Thanks! :B And that's because I can multitask! Muahaha! No, actually, I kind of had to get it out of my head, 'cause it wasn't letting me continue with my smutty fanart.

I kept hearing Sora's voice in my head asking Yamato: “So… you don’t… snore, do you?”, so it kind of happened. :P

Don't worry though, the smutty goodness is coming along nicely.

Aww… cute :) It had such an adorable/nervous/giddy/awkward/excited feel to it — which is exactly how I imagined they would be before their first time. Nicely done :)

1) What is the quality/attribute/characteristic you find most attractive in other people?

Intelligence, because I find it hard to respect people without. Yeah, I'm judge-y. :3 Also, because I find it hard to find someone attractive based on just one thing, I also find the following attractive: power, ambition, sensitivity, understanding, kindness, a sense of humour.

2) What has been the biggest constant in your life?

My sister.

3) Name five things you associate with your childhood.

Cartoons (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sailor Moon, morning and afternoon cartoons); my childhood best friends (who are on my Facebook, but I moved away in Year 3 so . . . yeah, no communication); the last two weeks of my first visit to Laos in 1999, where I had the most fun ever as a child; playing "make-believe" with my sister, where we'd pretend to be male characters and play out stories we made up for them, hahaha; and playing outside with no adult supervision with my siblings and cousins (roller blading, biking, etc.).

4) Do you think your personality matches your star sign?

Yes, because my Sun sign is Virgo and I have a total of four planets in Virgo. That's a lot of influence from one specific sign.

Most people also don't know shit about astrology. Your Sun sign isn't the only sign you have--you have a whole astrological chart that's unique to you based on the exact time you were born. For instance, while my Sun is in Virgo, my Rising is in Scorpio and my Moon is in Aquarius (and these are just the three main signs--there are more). This already makes me different from other Virgos without a Rising in Scorpio and/or Moon in Aquarius.

Generalisations found in magazines and books are just that: generalisations. Of course something written to apply to millions of other people isn't going to "match" you--that's silly. Everyone is unique, and if someone seriously wanted to stop being sceptical about astrology, get your full natal chart done. I'd be sceptical of astrology too if it didn't make so much sense. I don't know why it works--but it does.

Anyway: Yes, my astrological profile matches me.

5) What is the nicest message you’ve ever received on Tumblr? (You can just vaguely describe it if you want.)

Hahaha. OK, that was in chat, and not on Tumblr. But we met on Tumblr! :p

OK: A lot of people in the Sorato fandom have sent me really nice messages about my Tumblr. Those make me smile. :)

6) What is something you absolutely have to try before the end of your life?

Skydiving--right before I splatter myself on the ground. :P

7) Which is your favourite accent?

I don't really care for accents. But I guess French? I can also find certain British accents hot, like Andrew Lincoln's--but definitely not pansy British accents like David Beckham's. :P

8) What was the last movie/book which really made you think?

I don't really read books and I haven't really seen a lot of movies recently that have made me think. I guess Temple Grandin? It made me think about other people's struggles and how different we all are. And life and such. It's a good movie.

9) What is your favourite time of the day?

Nighttime. I'm nocturnal. I really dislike the Sun. :)

10) Since you are all Digimon people, which characters (from any season) are you most likely and least likely to get along with? Why?

Most likely to get along with Sora, because her personality is the epitome of a Scorpio and every significant person in my life has been a Scorpio. Of course there are exceptions, but I just have a connection with Scorpio-influenced people (thanks to my Scorpio Rising), and I'm the most comfortable around them. I think Sora and I would respect and admire one another, and have really deep talks about life and her hot blond husband. :)

Least likely to get along with Daisuke. I find it hard not to get irritated with loud, obnoxious, egotistic people. But that's OK--we're all different and we're not supposed to be able to get along with everyone.

And I tend to always look at boys' eyes first, so eyes is an important attribute for me. 2) What has been the biggest constant in your life? Where on this blog have I ever spoken about sweets? Never. Whereas you've insulted me constantly about writing "tooth-achingly sweet" Sorato fics. So that's where my assumption came from. :P
