52 in 52: Weeks 1-5 Round Up
Week 1: A story entitled “A New Beginning”.
A New Beginning (Kira/Boyd) by @andminyard - Kira is nervous about her first day at Beacon Hills High and when things go wrong, Boyd is there to make it a little better.
A New Beginning (Gen, Stiles Centric) by @damnfancyscotch - Stiles bites his lip, feeling like a jackass. He knows this move is good for his dad, that he’s getting a big promotion and blah blah blah. “I’ll be fine, Dad. I’m sure this is a good town.” He tries to smile – he’s not sure how well he does – and repeats, “I’ll be fine.”
New Beginnings (Derek/Stiles) by me - Stiles has a job and rent and other grownup things to deal with, he does not need to spend what little free time he has daydreaming about opalescent eyes that crinkle in the corners and a smile that could actually start a war. Or end one. Either is just as likely at this point.
Week 2: A story about rising to a challenge.
rising to the challenge (you'll make your real friends) (draco/harry) by wolfytru - Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter were always going to be something.
don't be afraid//it will be okay (Keyleth/Vex'ahlia) by pinkish - Keyleth grieves after the attack on Emon, the Keep and among the people she thought were family.
Challenge Accepted (Derek/Stiles) by @damnfancyscotch - rise to a challenge: (1) to deal successfully with a problem or situation that is especially difficult (2) to accept a challenge (ex): Stiles is finally going to rise to the challenge and ask Derek Hale out on a date.
To Prom, Or Not To Prom (Kira/Malia) by me - Maybe Malia finally noticed that Kira has hearts in her eyes every time she looks at her. It wouldn’t be surprising, with the were-coyote senses and all. She should have noticed something.... It’s just prom.
Week 3: A retelling of a fairytale.
Let The Wolf In (Derek/Stiles) by @damnfancyscotch - There is a family living in the heart of the woods in Beacon Hills, in a sprawling house tucked away amongst the trees and springs, the calls of birds and the push of the breezes. This family is a happy one, made up of people who found one another through chance – though if asked, some of them say it was destiny. Their home is bright with laughter and happiness and love. Their story started, as many often do, with a boy.
Beauty & The Beast (Derek/Lydia) by me - They say the forest on the north side of Beacon Hills is haunted, rumors of glowing red eyes and wolf men and unearthly howls on the full moon. They say there’s a beast that lives there, out in the burned out husk of a mansion. They say that a family used to live there, a family bursting with life and love and laughter. Some say that it’s the family’s ghosts that haunt the mansion, but others swear they’ve seen something, a bear, a wolf, a monster. Lydia thinks it’s all a load of crap.
Week 4: A story about three siblings.
The Argent Kids (Gen) by @damnfancyscotch - He looks across the gap at where Allison is leaning on the side of the garage, her dark hair messy from the tussle, teeth gritted as she wraps the scratch on her arm. Dad won’t kill her, at least. Mustn’t pick off the future leader of the family after all.
How To Hook A Hale (Derek/Scott) by me - “Okay here’s the deal,” Stiles whispers in Scott’s ear as they push open the doors of the high school. “There’s three rules every new kid needs to know.” Scott sighs and rolls his eyes. He’s pretty sure he’s not exactly qualified to be a new kid. He grew up in Beacon Hills, his best friend is in Beacon Hills, and just because his dad insisted he should try going to San Fran Prep for a couple of years doesn’t mean he suddenly forgot about Beacon Hills. Stiles of course, is more than willing to be an unnecessary tour guide.
Week 5: A story set in London.
2,547 Days (Derek/Scott) by me - Two thousand five hundred forty seven days. Not that he’s been counting or anything, but he did calculate it one day (one thousand three hundred and forty nine days ago). He figured it out again on this long ass flight to London. It’s been two thousand five hundred and forty seven days since he last saw Derek Hale.
