Although 2014 has had its fair share of ups and downs, the past year has primarily been one filled with major growth - surprising myself and being surprised by the world. It's been an unbelievable experience letting go of trying to control my future and simply allowing God to lead me where he has; and though I certainly have quite a journey left toward achieving the things I'd like to, my faith in myself and in my God has grown even stronger because of the events that occurred over these last twelve months. For 2015, I expect no less than what I've already been given; knowledge, strength, wisdom, etc. There will always be hardships and there will always be times I feel discouraged, but one thing I pray is that I continue to be the person I've been by continually picking myself back up, trusting in God, and trudging onward no matter how difficult it may be at first. I pray for patience, and endurance, and I pray to be a blessing. May the upcoming year bring evermore surprises and may my heart be prepared to receive them! P.S. I found that fortune this morning at work while cleaning off some shelves...what a convenient time to find such a thing!
