Book Review #48 of 2025--

I'm going to try to keep this review short because a) this was a comic and b) I didn't love it. This comic follows three people named Sam--Samuel, Samantha, and Samir--who stumble upon an alien in the woods and must try to determine the best way to use the powers it gives them. We see three outcasts discover this alien and they all use it for their own selfish desires--during their adventures two of them learn from their mistakes, one doesn't. One of the Sams in particular uses it and really goes off the handle. He becomes a hypocrite doing and saying the same things as the people he calls out on his social media show. We see a lot of social commentary and then it getting turned back around on the people who made those comments. This one really just fell flat for me. The writing is too open ended and we never get a resolution to all of the action.
