When the inn keeper dropped responsibility on her shoulders she knew her life would change, but she didn’t realize how drastic that change would be.

Before, coin had never been much of a concern. It was easy to care for herself, but the child and his horse do quick work of the coin she saved. Feeding three mouths is more difficult than she imagined. So, there she sat, ears flicking and moving in an attempt to hear a whisper of a job.

What made you decide to make a Tumblr?: I’ve RPed on Tumblr before, as well as on forums and through email, over Skype, etc. I just love RPing. But it had been a while since I’d been part of a Tumblr RP community, or even a forum RP community, and I missed it. And since I adored (and still adore) Skyrim, I figured I’d make a Skyrim blog!

Why did you pick your URL: It’s pretty much Madlen’s situation in a few words. :)

--- It was a normal day, as far as the weather of Skyrim goes. Of course, by Skyrim standards, such a day usually entailed of snowfall, rain, or some combination thereof. In this instance it was a drizzle; not enough to slog the roads but the sort that left a chill upon the ground that seemed to ignore any layer of clothing and bite at one’s lungs, making any traveling a chore that left one in a foul sort of mood.

     Shelter could be sought beneath the great old pines of Falkreath hold, if not to stave off the cold then to be rid of the soft downpour at least. This deep into the boreal forest, there was hardly the danger of bandits(who undoubtedly would forego such chill in the promise of trapped merchants and travelers), and it seemed one other was trusting of this.

     Some ways from the road glowed a small fire --- far enough from the road to keep privacy but not so far as to be out of sight of the path. It was here that Gahhaji-Meht, exiled and by his own, had set up camp for the week. The veritable titan was tall even sitting as he was upon a log, trying his best to absorb all heat from the fire as his reptilian nature dictated. Indeed it seemed so pre-occupied was he with tending the fire the normally aware Argonian either did not notice or otherwise did not care of the approaching stranger to the fire.

E’hla has several scars along her body, the most prominent being a nasty, ragged scar on the left side of her collarbone/shoulder from an arrow where the tip got stuck and she had to open the wound further to retrieve the arrowhead. She also has a thin scar across her left eye and cheek that she got while living in the Gray Quarter in Windhelm.

She does not have any noticable freckles, or birthmarks that she knows of. However, if she were to spend more time in the sun she would get a light streak of freckles across the bridge of her nose.

Fjalnir sat on a fallen log, stretching his arms as he absently looked into the distance. He’d been up since before the sun, and the long hours of forging and patrolling were beginning to take a toll on his tired muscles. Taking a break, an exceptionally short break, would probably be beneficial. Especially since he would have to head to Falkreath soon.

He took the flask from his satchel and leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees. He took a long swig of the ale and sighed heavily. By helping that kid in Windhelm he had ended up taking on more than he should have, especially since he had already joined the Stormcloaks by then. Fjalnir shook his head. Now wasn’t the time to think about that, it was far too late for that. Besides, in spite of how thinly he was spread it was fulfilling in its own way. 

He took another drink from his flask, trying to mentally prepare himself to return to his patrol.

"What sort of noise was that?”

All the starter sentences I could find, alphabetized.

“It was a sneeze,” Madlen said, brows bent. She sniffed indignantly. “What, haven’t you ever heard one before?”

True, it had been an ungodly sound, apparently scaring some birds from a nearby tree, but surely it was at least recognisable as a sneeze. Suddenly self-conscious, Madlen huffed, getting back to building her fire.

“I have done nothing to earn your distrust.”

A slight pause from the Argonian then, Nor’s gaze shifting along the ground for a moment before glancing back up at the other. “...True, you have not. However my lot in life is one where I cannot place my trust in someone just so easily. Especially when I have my daughter’s well-being in addition to my own to consider.” A soft shake of Nor’s head. “Do not take it personally, it is simply a fact of myself that has been ingrained in me for so long that I doubt I will ever be able to rid myself of it.”

Another day of getting dismissed in the middle of nowhere so he had to trek his Dunmeri ass from the frozen tundra around Whiterun, all the way to the docks of Windhelm. Sure, he could hire a carriage, but he'd rather not be stuck listening to some man prattle on. Teldryn was fine walking, and postponing his arrival in Windhelm, or his return to Raven Rock.

He took his time wandering along the road, cutting down bears and wolves as they came-- and soon enough watched a figure coming up upon the same crossroads as he was. His red eyes followed the nord woman from under his helmet, and he gave a sort of nod towards her and greeted in a low voice, "Hello."

You could always tell a fellow Mercenary. "Heading anywhere interesting this afternoon?" Teldryn asked curiously, and tilted his head to the side. A nice chat along the road was fine, but putting off heading back to Solstheim sounded even better.
