location: darkened hall ooo person: cuz @destinedgray
This would be an actually amazing experience had dead people not practically burst from the windows and flooded into the main hall. He’s got no horse in this race, he’s moving through what is a medieval castle with smoker’s lungs and he left Emma and Gabriel just to see if there was another way out. He’d watched The Walking Dead, he’d watched Zombieland every year in October since it had come out, but these were vampire zombies and he was no Talahasse. In fact, he was pretty sure he was a Columbus with maybe a little more street cred, he didn’t think he was super brainy by any means. But he was prepared to an extent and while he could hear screaming, the section of the hall looked dark and deserted, one of the crystal chandeliers broken and swaying above him. Rowan keeps to the shadows, the edge of the hall, eyes alert and pocket knife in hand and there’s something moving towards him. It’s slower than those damn vampire zombies but the light is still too dim for him to make out features but he doesn’t take any chances, he leaps forward and grabs at the front of a costume, presses the body up against the nearest wall with his forearm across it’s chest and- “You can’t just shamble around like that, man.” The man from the club, the druid that’d been upset with him. It’s him again and Rowan steps back from him to exhale and then suck a breath in through his teeth. “Shit I’m sorry, you okay?”
