the fact that brennan has rolled so many nat 1s and andrei has spent a not insignificant fraction of the campaign so far dissociating/actually believing he's dead.. it's The Horrors but also brennan playing the realism of a normal person trapped within a horrible tragedy. it's very sad and very good. i love you sweaty james bond

flight of the icaron's first episode was so enchanting <333

which is kind of funny bc it's a sci-fi setting

but the characters were so fun and interesting! i love kiki's seemingly bumbling country charm hiding a sharp and incisive intellect, andrei's blue collar casualness and solidarity with the kids next to his awkward dad mannerisms, and vera's sly leadership and the mystery surrounding her. i want to know more about them and how they'll react to this attack on the icaron!

and of course lou!!!!! the only time i've even sort of witnessed him dming is at the end of the d20 foundry episode where he and brennan built chungledown bim, and that was mostly a prank. this was stunning! his descriptions at the top of the episode were mesmerizing, and his npcs were so fun! i think my favorites were taupe lady, andrei's coworker, and stella. the voice of the coworker was especially fun for me! it was all top notch

looking forward to seeing where we go from here! what an absolute blast
