Assimilation saw the chat for a bit. SIDI took that opportunity to LOUDLY profess their love (lol). Assimilation seems to be a pretty fast reader (or I’m slow, or it skimmed) and SIDI’s message is in larger text so it’s harder to miss.

Assimilation read the bug reports on the wall, and therefore has all the information we do, and might be able to piece together that the chat is part of Andre’s mind. Assimilation seems intuitive enough to me. There’s also the fact that it clearly knows more that we weren’t shown. So even if the bug report and seeing the chat briefly weren’t enough to tip Assimilation off, then whatever they discovered off screen where they somehow learned all about Collin and stuff could maybe also have had more info on Andre’s PsychoNetwork. Not sure tho. Just throwing it out there.

My point here is. It is entirely possible within the canon for Assimilation to have been aware that there was a part of Andre that loved it.
