Now all he had to do was wait. Find something to pass the time with… Perhaps he should go back to the hospital… get to know the place a little better… or maybe he should put revenge at the top of his list again, only the wretched Lutece woman was left on it… or maybe he should seek out his equal… Eleanor… instead of waiting for her to come to him…

Without the Goddess to instruct him, the decision was even harder to make. He left Sinclair’s building and proceeded to walk through the fog. Steinman had no idea where he was heading; his morbid eyes couldn’t see anything but a grey mist which engulfed the street around him. He was somewhat paranoid, thinking Cohen might jump out in front of him, a swarm of killer crows at his call… Though he remained vigilant as strode on, keeping a focused frame of mind, remembering his objectives…

Soon the fog cleared up, and he found he was in a part of the city he had never seen before, a lavish garden, he couldn’t remember the last time he saw so many trees and plants… even Arcadia was distant in his memory. There was also a colossal tower which loomed in front of him. It looked somewhat familiar… though he cared not for architecture or flowers as he looked for beauty of the body,or at least a face with potential…

Steinman sat down on one of the benches, gazing up at the tower in contemplation. Maybe something awaited him at the top…
