“Death in a Desert Land”🏜 ~ by Andrew Wilson ~ This is my first book by Andrew Wilson and I am impressed. 🤩 ~ I am a great fan of Agatha Christie and this book was such a delight featuring “Agatha Christie” herself. 🙌 ~ In this novel, Agatha Christie is both the writer and a character of the story. 🕵️♀️ ~ The story is set in 1928, Agatha has been asked by her friend and Intelligence Officer Davison to go to Ur by way of Bagdad to investigate the death of a prominent archaeologist, writer and Intelligence Officer Gertrude Bell. What unfolds next is both mysterious and thrilling. 📔👀 ~ I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I’m so glad I decided to pick this one up. As I began to read this novel, I got addicted, it’s like I didn’t want it to end. It’s suspenseful, clever, fascinating entertaining and a page turner with a mix of history, archaeology and geography. ❤️ ~ I love the characters in this book, brilliantly portrayed with a peculiar personality. 😍 ~ I have to admit, I love reading books by English authors the most. Andrew Wilson is magical, it feels as though I’m reliving Agatha Christie all again. I cannot wait to read other novels by Andrew Wilson. 📚 ~ If I would have to rate it out of 5. It would be 4.8/5 ⭐️ ~ Let me know if you’ve read this one and suggestions for more mysterious/suspenseful/thriller genre books. 👇 #andrewwilsonauthor #deathinadesertland #agathachristie #agathachristiebooks #andrewwilson #atriabooks #atria #mysterybooks #suspensenovel #suspensethriller #englishbooks #englishauthors #titlewavesbandra #september2020 #septemberreads #novels #thursdayreview #bookreview https://www.instagram.com/p/CFhnN4sDuE1/?igshid=16nrpjar6y1hu
