The cool air of the midnight began to feel hot on her cheeks, her head heavy like an iron ball, and the millions of stars beaming above were beginning to circulate it.
Ombra looked at the doctor next to her, Andrius, dressed all in black. His drunken, violet eyes stole her heart in an instant, and as he gave her a half smile with a slight tilt of his head, Ombra felt like a fire was just ignited in her chest. She couldn’t wait any longer.
Ombra stepped forward, and slowly led this drunk man towards the wall. She cupped his rosy cheeks in her palms.
“You’ve been keeping me waiting, sir.” She shifted her gaze to his lips. “A doctor should tend to his patients, hm?” She closed the little distance between them, and her lips met his.

History:
Megan and Kitana were on their way home from a meeting in Earthrealm, Megan tagging along as she’s a sort of mediator between the two realms. The meeting was with Raiden and Fujin to make sure that the realms were still at peace and reflecting on eachothers realms and their progress.
During the meeting however, something was on Megan’s mind. Something that had been on her mind for a while. As the thought won’t leave Megan’s mind, and she and Kitana are alone, she decides to ask Kitana the thought that has been plaguing her.
Megan: “Kitana?”
Kitana: “Yes, Megan?”
Megan: “Have you ever thought about us having kids?”
Kitana: “A time or two. Why?”
Megan: “I ask because I’ve kind of been wanting a baby here recently, but I know that with us, especially you, being busy and all, adoption isn't really an option.”
Kitana: “You’ve got a point. And there’s no way we’re cloning one. I won’t allow it. Not after Shang Tsung and his abominations.”
Megan thinks for a moment.
Megan: “Do you want me to look up some ideas when we get home on my laptop?”
Kitana: “Yes, that would be most helpful.”

Once Megan and Kitana reach their Outworld home, Megan automatically grabs her laptop and plops down on her and Kitana’s bed, searching for solutions, the sound of tapping and music from Megan’s laptop the only noises to be heard within their home.
Kitana then walks into their shared bedroom to where Megan is.
Kitana: “Have you found anything yet?”
Megan: “Not yet prin- Wait hold on! How didn’t I think of this before!?”
Kitana: “What didn’t you think about before?”
Megan: “We could do insemination. Basically, putting sperm within one of us, most likely me as you’re the busier one, either through a doctor putting sperm in me that came from a sperm donor, or I have to sleep with a dude in order to get pregnant. Luckily, I know just the person who can help me with this situation who you know as well.”
Kitana: “That would certainly work. Who did you have in mind to help?”
Megan: “Andrius. He’s a doctor so he would most likely have some sperm from someone, and even if he doesn’t, he’s someone that I wouldn’t mind sleeping with and letting him impregnate me. Unless you feel otherwise of course.”
Kitana: “I don’t mind that proposition. He is a good friend and I trust him greatly. You have my blessing.”
Megan: “Thank you Tana. I’ll probably head over tomorrow as I’m still tired from the meeting and traveling back and forth.”
Kitana: “Of course, Megan. I understand.”

The next day, Megan teleports to New York where Andrius lives, to ask if he would help her and Kitana have a baby.
Megan goes up to Andrius’ door and knocks, hearing footsteps heading towards the door not too long after. The large wooden violet purple door then opens.
Andrius: “Ah! Hello Megan! Come on in!” The doctor then steps to the side to let Megan in. Megan walks into the large house and sits down on one of Andrius’ couches.
Andrius: “Do you want anything to drink?”
Megan: “Tea is fine.”
Andrius then walks away and comes back a few moments later with two cups in his hands, one blue and white, the other black and purple.
Andrius: “Now to the point at hand. Why did you come all the way to rural New York to see me?” The Englishman asks as he sits down.
Megan takes a sip of her tea.
Megan: “Well, me and Kitana were wanting to have a kid, but cloning isn’t really an option given Kitana’s past, and adoption would just be a hassle with our busy schedules, especially Kitana’s. That’s when I got the idea for insemination when I looked up other options, and you're the only doctor that I know and trust to do something like that.”
Andrius: “Well, I could definitely do that for you and Kitana, but sadly I don't have anyone’s sperm in stock at the moment.”
Megan: “What about you?”
Andrius: “Pardon?”
Megan: “Couldn’t I just sleep with you? You have sperm, don’t you?”
This causes Andrius to blush a little, his purple eyes going somewhat wide.
Andrius: “Yes, I do.”
Megan: “Then couldn’t you just sleep with me? We’ve been friends for a while now. Unless you don’t want to of course.”
Andrius: “I wouldn’t mind it. It would be the worst thing that I’ve done in my career as a doctor.”
Megan: “Do you care to elaborate on that Andrius?”
Andrius: “No, not really. Do you want to schedule it? Or do you want to go ahead and do it today? I don’t currently have anything planned.”
Megan: “We can go ahead and do it now to get it out of the way.”
Andrius: “As you wish darling. Kabal and Callias are away, so we shouldn’t have any interruptions.” Andrius then stands up and takes Megan’s hand in his, gently lifting her up, and guiding her upstairs to his bedroom, where Megan stays the night.

The next day, Megan teleports back to her home in Outworld where Kitana is waiting for her.
Kitana: “I take it that you slept with him.”
Megan: “I did, yeah.
Kitana: “Did he say anything?”
Megan: “He said that if I didn’t feel sick or anything within a week, to visit him again. So, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how I feel between now and then.”
Kitana: “Hopefully it worked. I can’t wait to meet the new member of our little royal family.”
Megan then heads inside, with Kitana following close behind, closing the door behind them.

The morning after, Megan wakes up around 8am, a time she doesn’t usually get up unless she has to, feeling sick and nauseous to her stomach.
When Megan first wakes up, the nausea isn’t too bad, Megan taking a swallow of water to help ease it, her taking out her phone to calm herself.
However, the longer that Megan lays there, the worse her nausea gets, causing Megan to run to her and Kitana’s en-suite bathroom to spill her dinner from the previous night into the toilet.
This wakes up Kitana.
Kitana: “Megan, dear, are you alright in there?”
Megan: “Not really… I woke up fine, just a little nauseous, but the longer I was on my phone, trying to calm myself down and suppress the feeling, the worse it got…”
Kitana: “I think the insemination worked then.”
Megan: “I-I think it did to…” Megan says as she vomits into the toilet once again, causing Kitana to wince in pity.
Kitana: “Do you mind if I use your phone? I imagine you're not in the state to contact Andrius yourself at the moment.”
Megan: “Y-Yeah, f-feel free to call him.” Megan says once she has a break to breathe and speak.” (Note: I headcanon that Megan taught Kitana how to use her phone, at least to call or text someone if there’s an emergency)
Kitana then unlocks Megan’s phone and finds Andrius’ number. Kitana puts the phone on speaker as the phone then begins to ring. Andrius then answers the phone.
Andrius: “Hello?”
Kitana: “It looks like your insemination worked, Andrius.”
Andrius: “Ah, good morning, Kitana! And yeah… I can hear that. Sounds like it’s coming along nicely…”
Megan: “Shut up Andrius!!!” Megan shouts, throwing up for the last time.
Andrius: “Ha…yes, good morning to you too Megan. I know that you're not one to usually be up this early. Though with the child I guess you’ll get used to it… sorry darling.”
Megan can then be heard groaning from the restroom, where Megan was currently flushing the toilet and brushing her teeth to get the vomit taste out of her mouth.
Andrius: “Though you will most likely be more tired, and sleep more, so it will hopefully even out.”
Megan: “Oh thank the Elder Gods.”
Kitana: “Is there anything that we will have to do during Megan’s pregnancy?”
Andrius: “Yes, try to make sure she is drinking plenty of liquids, exercise, but not too much as you don’t want to hurt the baby, so just simple exercises like walking around, and plenty of rest as you don’t want to overdo yourself or the baby. Also make sure to eat plenty, and I would suggest not traveling a lot during the latter half of the pregnancy, now Megan should be fine. Around once a month, either come to me, or I’ll come to you, and I’ll do checkups and ultrasounds for you to know the progress and health of Megan and the little one. Anything else?”
Megan: “No, I think that’s pretty much all. I wrote it all down so we won’t forget.” Megan answers, coming back into her and Kitana’s shared bedroom.
Andrius: “Great! If any of you two have any other questions, feel free to call or text me, as I will to it as soon as possible.”
Kitana: “Good day, Andrius.”
Megan: “Bye Andi!”
Andrius: “Good day ladies.” Andrius laughs as he hangs up.

Nine long months later, Megan had a beautiful baby boy, which she named Cyrus, as he was her sun. Cyrus was born in Outworld, as Andrius didn’t want Megan going anywhere.
Kitana was the one to notify Andrius as she had decided to not to travel to somewhere unless it was super important, especially towards the end of Megan’s pregnancy.
Cyrus grew up training to be royalty by Kitana in case Kitana were to rule one day. She did this so that if Cyrus were to rule one day, whether something happened to Megan and/or Kitana, or he surpassed/defeated whatever ruler were to come next, or any other scenario.
While Kitana was training Cyrus in royalty, Megan tried to give him a somewhat normal childhood, within all the royalty, these moments being ones that Cyrus greatly appreciated, as the royalty training could be difficult sometimes, especially for a young boy.
