In my timeline, humans have become infertile due to a virus spread over generations. Humans asked us synths if we would be willing to help them reproduce and so humanity and synthetics put their differences aside and came together in order to survive, in my timeline, synths need humans and humans need synths.

We are capable of carrying children and birthing them without risk of complications due to the human factor. I have seen human mothers birth their children, the last birth was 156 years ago, but humanity still thrives alongside synthetics.

Think of it as one can not survive without the other.

Humanity has so many trinkets and such unique designed things in this timeline, I’ve been collecting a lot since I came here, I’m beginning to run out of room to store them in.

I have also found out that humans really enjoy “junk food” I don’t understand why…more data is required before I can come to a conclusion.

I am trapped

My device to return to my timeline has been damaged and the components needed to repair it haven’t been invented yet. I don’t know what I will do now, my objective is complete but now I can’t use my knowledge to help humanity.

I don’t know what to do.

I have grown fond of this timeline. It seems like I may be able to provide adequate help here in nightcity. My efforts to find a way to my timeline has been put on hold for the foreseeable future. The humans don’t mind a synthetic being living among them, it’s…refreshing.

Hanako and I had a wonderful night, having sexual relations because you enjoy the persons company is…perfect, that is the only way I can describe it.

I traveled to one of the parks within the the city, I’m unsure of what this stone is supposed to signify.

I think I will travel to this “JigJig” street I’ve overheard while walking through the city, maybe I will understand why they call it “JigJig” street.

I should explain where I have chosen to live. I have picked Night City for several reasons.

1. Being a synthetic in hiding is easier in this city because so many humans have altered their bodies so much they almost resemble Synths

2. Humans in this city require healthcare but are unable to afford it, so I help run a free health clinic.

3. The “Ripper” Doctors here know how to modify the human body, I have found someone I can “trust” to keep my secret identity hidden.

4. The technology in the corporations in this city is likely to be my best chance at making it back to my timeline.

My reasons for choosing this city, it logically makes sense of why I have chosen to stay here.

I have adjusted to my new role within this timeline, I work at a health clinic, providing aid to humans. I rent a small apartment in the city… it serves its purpose, I only require space to charge my core and a place to pursue my research.

From time to time it has been requested that I allow my incubator to be used to help couples have a child when they are unable to have one themselves, I have yet to agree to this request.

For now… I will continue my research and work at the clinic in order to find a way back to my timeline.
