       ⚠; Sprawling out and getting baked with Rachel Amber in the bed of her beloved pickup truck seemed like a great idea at first. But now Chloe is rethinking her genius idea of a chill date;  because holy shit has she got a major case of the munchies, and fuck is it getting cold out. 

So, she sits up, turns to the blonde and urgently says, “You. Me. Two Whales. Now.”

“y’know, audrey, being sure that it’s jeremy may not be the best idea right now.” it’s said hesitantly, and for the first time since getting to lakewood the girl is scared. she’d managed to be roped in to emma and her friends’ trip to some murder island, and like magic the murders followed emma from lakewood to some small island in the middle of nowhere. carter had been in on the murders since the beginning, sometimes even part of them, but this time she’s one of the helpless kids running around hoping like hell they’ll survive. “if it’s not him then we could be trusting the bad guy and leaving a good guy to die.”

Maybe wanting to shove an entire pen collection down your own throat so you had an excuse to stop speaking (or, alternatively, throwing the aforementioned pens at Stella Penn-Yamada’s head) was a good sign she needed to stop and put her phone away for the day but Mohini Banerjee was nothing but stubborn. She originally came to the café so she could finish her song but Stella met this girl a few weeks ago and she every time she spoke of her, it sounded like that girl hung the moon. It was adorable, really. It was super cute to witness Stella having a crush. That’s why she was still trying - and probably failing - to help her best friend and former bandmate out.

“—Gods, Stell! Just tell her that the sky wept for her beauty and that the sea was tired of being what it is, so it rose up to form the color of her eyes! Tell her that you want to learn her like you learned about the constellations in the sky, every time she speaks ‘cause she’s that interesting! I don’t know! I’m not good at this! C’mon, Stella, you’re a musician too! Write her a song!” 

Why was it so busy at the café today of all days? “You do realise that in Indian lore, the God of Love got incinerated and that his ashes were brought back to his wife, right?” With a sigh on her lips and a styfoam cup in her hands, she made her way over to one of the less occupied tables. 

The conversation was ended and the phone got pocketed, but not after Mohini told Stella to call another former bandmate of theirs, Olivia, and wished her well in her quest to talk to her crush. “Sorry 'bout that, mind if I sit? It’s getting kinda crowded in here.”

Ellie thoroughly enjoys the small trips they make out of town. The farther away they were, the more she could focus. It’s times like these were Ellie could relax and take the obstructions away from her face. It was during this time that Ellie was very taken aback by the suddenness of Rachel’s question. 

“You wanna do what to my hair?”
