Millions of years ago, before mankind developed an appreciation for the beauty of weathered redwood, prehistoric homeowners covered it up with multiple coats of ugly white paint. Then one day, a curious young caveboy discovered fire and invented language at the same time when he burned his fingers while playing with his dad's lighter and yelled, "OUCH! That's really hot!" That curious caveboy eventually became a brilliant caveman whose lifelong fascination with fire led him to invent the propane torch, which he used to remove layers of white paint from redwood boards and reveal the unique beauty underneath. Modern wood reclaimers still use his invention today. #AndThatsTheTruth #ReclaimedWoodGoods #reclaimedwood #recycle #reclaim #repurpose (at The Barren Badlands of Central California)
