Hey Everyone Who Applied to Persephone’s Daughters!

As promised, we’re right on schedule- we’ll have all the apps decided on the day of Wednesday, May 20th!

Check your emails from Wednesday the 20th through Friday the 22nd for notifications of acceptance/rejection!

Yo cool tumblrs to follow that you're in-real-life friends with too?

This is a FAB question. 

My best friends are inpiscinationstation, official-gazeboman, and andthenisank. They all care about activism so you're likely to find a fair amount of it on their blogs, but they also have a fair amount of personal interest stuff on there. 

Some of my other amazing friends who run fun and interesting tumblrs are: sonofachipwich, aheartbeneathstone, catscardiganscalculus, sunshinethequeer, thecaptainsandthekings, countessdemontecristo, kimberlyspeter, and marzipanandminutiae. 

All these people are really cool and interesting people and definitely worth sending a message to! Some of them run fandom and theatre blogs, some of them run social justice blogs, some of them run quirky blogs that will make you laugh, some of them run blogs that offer a really interesting perspective on current events. These are the people I hang out with for hours and hours in real life so even if their blogs aren't your cup of tea I can guarantee that they're all very intelligent, thoughtful, friendly people who will likely make you think if you talk to them. Check them out!

so one of my good friends spends most of her time in starbucks and the other day she was there till it closed 

and the people behind the counter were like "hey do u want all of our pastries? we're legally not allowed to sell them since they're a day old" and she was like "YES"

and then i had a party that night so she brought them over to my house and ended up leaving them there. and now i am surrounded by like a dozen starbucks pastries

is this heaven
