After the birth of their twins Gabe and Naomi remember their oldest son
Gabe smiled laying down next his wife on her hospital bed as she recovered from a C-section. He took one of the bundles from his wife’s arms. He smiled at one of their newborn sons. He kissed Naomi’s forehead.
“They’re beautiful, just like their mommy.”
“They look more like their papi.”
Gabe smiled at her again looking at their twin sons, than frowned they were parents again. They were Now parents of three beautiful boys, their twins River Andrew and Roberto Daniel. And their first born son who was in the Spirit Realm, Andrew Daniel. Andy was so tiny when he was born, smaller than River and Robby. Andy had a heart defect which lead to his early death at only three months old.
“Gabe, I miss Andy too. Do you think he believes we are replacing him with the twins?”
“Hope not, mi amor. He might just be jealous about the new babies like Miguel is about Elena and Mateo’s baby that’s all,” Gabe whispered kissing her on the lips. Both parents looked at their twins, River in Naomi’s arms and Robby in Gabe’s.
“The twins will know about Andy,” Naomi whispered into River’s sleeping face, trying to hold back tears.
“They will,” Gabe whispered also trying to hold his own tears. Gabe put his free arm around Naomi. They stared at their sleeping twin sons, staying quiet remembering their oldest son. The quietness ended when both twins woke up hungry and crying.
“Sweeties, don’t cry, your mommy and papi are here and love you,” Naomi whispered as she started to feed the babies.
“So does your big brother Andy. River your middle name of Andrew is after Andy, and Robby you and Andy share the middle name of Daniel,” Naomi cried. Two sets of hazel eyes open and stared at her. Gabe smiled at his twins and wife. Nothing could replace Andy, they are parents of three children. River Andrew and Roberto Daniel with them in the EverRealm and Andrew Daniel in the Spirit Realm.
