After founding Atari, Bushnell decided to test drive a simpler product in a similar location, Andy Capp's Tavern in Sunnyvale. Next day the manager complained that the unit was broken. This game was a hit - designer Al Alcorn found that the mechanism was jammed with quarters. The work-around was simple – install a larger coin box. The Pong prototype is now on display in the Computer Games gallery of the Revolution exhibit at the Computer History Museum. Atari leveraged this breakout game into the first major video game company. Today Andy Capp’s is Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club offering “the best stand-up comedy in an intimate club setting”. Serial entrepreneur Bushnell also gave birth to Chuck E. Cheese, first headquartered in Sunnyvale.
