The Lights Amongst Many.
@aneclipseoverthedas The reef was never truly a pleasant place; for many inhabitants never saw the light which the sun radiated against the delightful planets such as the moon, earth, the city.. No, the reef was long buried into the darkness which the abyss held - and what that darkness came a dictatorship many gladly ruled under, but also a set of laws and morales maybe 70 years behind. Politics wasn't much of a thing and slavery wasn't as popular in such a time, but people, mainly awoke or EXO's were still useful to have around for... any act. Meanwhile the towers may have been colder but their cities blossomed with happy children, a flourish of weather and smiles. No. it became difficult for people like Lithaldoren to smile - never once had he seen the sun, the moon, earth or tower; for serving under house Titus deemed much more practical. And why would be need the light of the sun as Isabella still chose to discuss life with him in a daily basis, ignoring the fact he was a bodily disgrace. No, she was a ray of sunshine - a queen, a goddess who could rule this isle if it was not a monarchy system. She always had had that strut about her; her dialogue, walk, fashion, confidence... it drew him in and they forever seemed tied at the hip since. Having but a chance for air, darting to the illuminated streets was what rather dark grey, verging blue skinned feet directed him to do, a knowing sense she would be there.. and what a surprise. His instinct had never failed him since her arrival. She was all he had. He wasn't going to let that go. "Ah. Mistress. It seems you have arrived early, hmm?.... did your Cryptarch studies deem too difficult a task? I say abandon all yours hopes on such and give your engrams to Master Ives. He is much grander. His voice is soothing. Use him, my dear. Tis a worthless cause! You and them darned sealed items you will likely demolish anyhow...." For a slave, the hunter was never subtle in his ways with the woman who stood a much higher ground than himself. "Or continue... See if you can find a light, hmm? A small crack in its shell and pry it apart. For we are the queens wrath, are we not?...." The bladedancer chuckled, rolling illuminated green eyes which contrasted from the dark purple sky the reef had.
