Might I introduce you to Anemone2021?

To start off, hello everyone, we're @rated-m-for-musicals and @saquashing, your potential presidential and vice presidential candidates. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.

The primary concern of this campaign is the like to reblog ratio on tumblr and how we plan to improve interaction

The most important thing to say here is that no matter how many interactions with your posts you get, whether it's a sketch of SBI, or a 100k word fic, it's still valid and incredible.

The mcyt fandom, (hermitcraft, dsmp, bearsmp, etc) wouldn't be near as popular or loved today if it wasn't for the incredibly talented fan creators that feed us with content.

Anemone2021 may not be able to force more people to reblog (though we wish we could), but we can implement other policies to help give the fan creators in our community a larger opportunity to show off their creations

The running president of Anemone2021, @rated-m-for-musicals, after doing research into past candidates and winners of the election, was inspired to implement something into our own campaign.

A calendar, with an assigned content creator every day, where artists, editors, and writers alike can show off their creations based on that character or cc using tags, submissions, and reblogs on our official account @anemone2021, and our personal accounts @rated-m-for-musicals and @saquashing. Along with weekly/monthly shout-outs of artists and authors alike.

During this, we will encourage reblogs from other accounts, big and small. We want to give as much exposure as we can to the fan creators that keep this community thriving.

Adding to this point for clarification, we would have community specific events, such as weeks dedicated to hermitcraft, third life, epic smp, bear smp, dreamsmp, etc. MCYT isn’t just dreamsmp, we should provide a platform for all communities, even if we don’t know much about them.

We could set clarifications on certain days. For example, during a week dedicated to Epic SMP, we could have three days scheduled for fanart, three days scheduled for written work and one day dedicated to clips or gifs.

Every month, we will put out a poll asking users for which smp/community they want to see represented on the calendar. We would ask for feedback from the community on if they approve of our schedule and the content we put out.

All work shared on the platform will be SFW.

Fan creators are the backbone of the community, and we should start treating them as such.

But of course, we can't campaign on a single issue. So, here are a few of our other campaign focuses

If you vote, you get a mermaid tail and the ability to breathe underwater

All cc creator accounts will be banned, with the exception of @talentlacking and @realsophietexas

Shit talking twitter will be mandatory

Fwhips dog Koda will be made the official mascot of the mcytblr community

Stanning Jack Manifold will be a community mandate

April 4, 404, shall be cannonized as a holiday

Arson is legal

So is murder but only against bigots

Everyone has to call the moon pretty at least once a week

A tag filled with animal pictures, grounding and breathing exercises will be created on our official page for people to go through when feeling overwhelmed

We will attempt to break the negative stigma around writing fanfiction

Hermitcraft slander will be banned and hermit appreciation will occur 24/7

Geminitay will be worshiped for the goddess that she is

Joel and LDShadowlady will receive the official title as parents of MCYT

Everyone has to follow Ponk on twitch

Ghostbur will be saved from limbo and will live out the rest of his days with Friend in Stampys Lovely World
