Results of Second Voting Round of the Fourth MCYTBLR Elections

Greetings everyone! Thank you for waiting patiently for the results and also for taking part as either a voter or a contender in the Fourth MCYTBLR Elections. This time, we got to improve our methods for conducting the votes and can safely say that all of the counted votes were verified and genuine. Each party had put up a fair fight to show that they are deserving of the title, thus pushing the elections to new heights and driving us to do more. Yet as we come closer to the end, only a few get to remain.

The top 5 most voted parties of the 4th MCYTBLR Elections, 2021 are:

This round is won by Anarchy2021 with 22% of the total number of votes.

As promised by the mod team, due to securing the position of the fourth most voted option— the Resistance also moves up in the ballot to the final rounds.

The elections will conclude with a final round of voting among these newly qualified parties and one single winner as a result. Further details will be provided in due time.

It's always sad to see the road you are journeying on end, but both Kara and myself are happy to have had a chance to represent this community in any small capacity. We met many wonderful people through this process and we're so thankful for everyone who showed up to support us. In particular, a big thanks to @kikiwhataboutthatbrendon who gave us a second chance with Kamikaze2021 and to @mcytblr-fourth-elections for hosting us.

As for what comes next, we'll be sending our support to @ptide2021, as their policies are the closest aligned with our own. Ptide2021 lives up to our values of uplifting fan creators on this sight, and in the debate, they showed themselves to be a strong, commanding presence that treated all who participated with respect. We encourage all who voted for us to vote for them.

Once again, we thank you for all your support, and we're so glad we got a chance to participate in this amazing community.

Second Round of Voting Begins!

Greetings! Throughout the past few days, we have seen a lot happen. Motives became clearer as voter got to see parties place their judgement and ideals in real time. So we that, it’s time we arrive at yet another conclusion with our second round of votes starting now, Friday 8th October 2021 6PM EST.

Some basic rules apply to voting:

You are to enter your name/tumblr id (preferably tumblr id) to vote. You are only allowed to vote once.

Parties will be shortlisted from 10 to 5 remaining parties as a result of these votes.

The Mcytblr Elections is a roleplay event and the outcome of these votes should be taken as such too.

Presidents are not allowed to vote but running mates and party members can vote. They can even vote for their own party.

Results will be declared only after Sunday 10th October 2021, 6PM EST.

Announcing: Second Round of Votes

Greetings everyone! It has been quite eventful after the first voting results were announced. We saw both the rise and fall of parties and alliances. With the debate, voters also got the chance to know their possible future leaders better as they watched the Vice Presidents debate in real time.

With that, we are here to announce that the Second Round of Official Voting will begin from Friday 8th October 6PM EST and will end on Sunday 10th October 6PM EST.

Like the previous round, voting link will be provided at the starting time itself. This time, the number of parties will be shortened from 10 parties to 5 qualifying parties as a result of the votes.

We request parties to inform us of any newly formed alliances so that we can include them in an updated list of contenders which we will publish this week for easy access for the voters.

The election mods have also discussed the future of the event and we have come up with a conclusion. Or rather an offer, for the Election Resistance– if the resistance manages to get a popular vote in this round too and ends up in the top 5 most voted, then we will offer them a place to compete with the top two most voted parties in the final round and a chance to win the event, and thus fulfil their goal to disband and take out the mcytblr elections completely.

Election Debate 10/2

Ahead of the debate occurring tomorrow morning at 12 est, Anemone2021 wishes to inform you that we will be participating in @mcytblr-fourth-elections under the coalition party, Kamikaze2021.

You may recognize a few other campaigns, including @void2021, @communist-tubbo (catjam2021) and @fakecookie2021, all of whom are we are partnered with.

Due to the combination of promises, we've come together and created a new list of policies that we feel allow all of us equal opportunity to present our own beliefs.

Kamakazi2021 advocates for more recognized fandom works of every genre (within reason). This shall be achieved with individual blogs dedicated to a SMP (Dsmp, Empires, Hermitcraft, Stampy, etc.) with a schedule to have one character specifically recognized each day.

Butch Hartman will be the first sacrifice to the void once Kamakazi2021 is elected into office.

The mods and admins of the election will get the recognition they deserve in the form of individualized 'thank you's', from those that wish to, who participated in the election.

Every voter will get a cookie and a kitten in their inbox, along with a free hug should they so desire.

Kamakazi2021 advocates for a more friendly and inclusive fandom throughout the many sub-fandom genres within this great fandom.

Everyone under the protection of the government will be issued a knife upon the election of Kamakazi2021. Someone tries to stop you? You know what must be done.

Kamikaze2021 seeks to abolish the ever present and all to common like to reblog ratio plaguing tumblr creators. Kamakazi2021 totally, peacefully, encourages voters to reblog using absolutely no violence whatsoever.

In no way is Kamakazi2021 responsible for any aberrant crashes or glitches on tumblr.com caused by any cookies, cats, or hats sent to voter inboxes.

First Round of Voting Begins

Greetings everyone! After weeks of letting parties spread out their propaganda, it is time for us to take the first step towards voting for our leader with the first official round of votes. Some things to keep in mind before voting:

This election is held in gentlemen’s rule. While we cannot really stop people from voter fraud, we trust them not to commit it.

Each blog is given one valid vote.

Candidates cannot vote however running mates can. They are also allowed to vote for their own parties.

Keep in mind, this is all meant to be a fun roleplay event, hence the results of this round of votes should be taken as such too.
