Late last week, ArenaNet, makers of the MMO Guild Wars 2, suspended over 1,500 player accounts it suspected of cheating. According to one of the players caught in the sweep, the studio accomplished this using what some users and experts are calling spyware to monitor people’s computers for known cheat programs.

How Do You Get Alts Into The Desert?

While I’m very much enjoying Path of Fire and the maps which come with it, I have one nagging issue with them: I don’t know how to get alt characters into the maps.

I have the Lily of the Elon pass which can TP my alts there, but I have that because I bought one of the better packages for the expansion. If I had the standard edition, as far as I can tell, I’d have to do the first story instance for PoF to get any additional toons into the desert.

If anyone knows of a different way to get into the desert (aside from the new guild hall) please let people know. As is, the maps feel very cut off.
