Being the pet of Angel!König is not the worst fate you could have found yourself in. On one hand, you were guaranteed a spot in Heaven for the rest of eternity, which was a fate that most people dream of, while on the other hand, it meant you were never able to see your friends or family again unless they somehow made the criteria to make it into Heaven but knowing them you thought it to be impossible.
He is nice, well, as nice as he can be for an Angel who keeps you as a pet.
The Common Angels that cared for you when he was busy were the ones to gossip, and they gossiped loudly. You knew the jist of why you were there even if you did not have all the details. Apparently, most of the First Heirarchy Angels, such as Seraphim and Cherubim, tended to have a fascination with humans even if they were to never to act on it like previous ones, such as Lucifer had done. And this included Angel!König, who was the most fascinated by humans out of them all; you did not know what he had gone, but he had done something which allowed him to be granted one gift by the Almighty, and unluckily Angel!König only had his eyes on one human out of all of the ones that resided on Earth.
That human just had to be you.
You had been stolen away in your sleep and dragged away to a palace. It was grand and incredibly vast. At one point, you thought it was larger than all of Earth as it seemed never-ending as you continued to walk through its many halls. It was made up of a collection of star matter, clouds, and gold to form its walls, ceilings, balconies, staircases, floors, shelves, and anything else you could think of. You could never get bored inside of it as every time you opened a door; it showed you a room that was filled with anything you wanted to entertain yourself. Most of the time, you found yourself reading in the library as not only were their books in there, but the fanfiction you also enjoyed reading had been formed into books, and many series that you had wished to have finished were fully finished even if it would have never been possible on Earth. Another point that made the palace a dream was how the kitchen was filled with food. Like how the bathroom and closets were filled with any clothes you wanted or skin care items needed, the cupboards, fridges, and freezers were all filled to the brim with all the foods in existence that never seemed to go rotten or end. You could make anything you wanted, but most days, you would just open the doors to the dining room to find a feast already prepared for you.
You did not think as to why a being like an Angel would have all of those things as they should not need them, but you tried not to think about it. You had learnt that it was better not to think of such things.
Overall, your life seemed great. You were trapped like a bird in a cage. No matter how appealing the cage was or how glamorous it was, you were still trapped, and there was nothing you could do about it. The only thing you could do was accept your new luxurious life, as there was no point in fighting back.
In return, all you had to do was appease your new master, which was not too hard. Angel!König did not ask for much when he was around you after doing the duties he was appointed to do. For his size, he was surprisingly gentle; he never tried to harm you, at least not on purpose or if he was not doing one of his experiments. He had a few simple rules that you had to follow.
One: No asking questions, but if you have to, not too many.
This rule was only implemented due to how you kept pissing him off by asking him too many questions and screaming at him for what he had done. He banned you from asking questions after that point unless it was necessary due to you being an utterly clueless human in Heaven.
Two: Always listen to him.
Not too hard as most of what he told you to do were simple commands, but when he did start ranting to you and telling you everything about the things he found interesting, which mainly was just about killing Demons.
Three: Always do what he wants you to do.
It was the one rule you hated the most, but he somehow always guilted you into complying by saying how he was just curious and wanted to learn as he had never met a human before.
Four: Be nice and compliant.
You wanted to fight back, and at times, you tried to, but you packed that in once he had brought a Demon back to show you and told you what terrible things they would do to a human like you. You also learnt the valuable lesson of not trying to test him that day when you saw how easily he crushed that Demon’s skull in his hand.
Five: Never try to escape.
Probably the easiest rule to follow as it was impossible to escape the damn palace anyway.
The rules most of the time were not a problem. It was his experiments that were your biggest problem. They were not even real experiments, it was just his excuse to be able to do what he wanted with you.
It started off small, nothing much really. All he asked was that he could play with your hair, he said that he enjoyed playing with it as the texture was so different from Angel hair and the material that made up their wings. It was simple, just him holding a clump of hair in his hand as he seemed to study it. He even enjoyed styling your hair and helping you through your care routine for it. But, it progressed. After a while, he began to tug and pull at it, you would cry and ask why but all he would say was that he wanted to see what would happen when he did it. That was when you learned about his sadistic side as he never stopped pulling your hair, he just loved to see you cry.
From your hair, it turned into touches. He would fondle and squish at your body as he made demeaning comments about how soft and delicate mortals were compared to Angels like him. It made you feel pathetic but at the same time, it was relaxing. The heat in his palms would radiate into your muscles, helping them to relax, getting rid of all the knots that tended to plague you. He made you melt into his arms, making you complacent putty in his hands. But those touches moved to more intimate areas. It started with him toying with your nipples, pulling at the delicate flesh until you choked on tears. Then soon enough his hand went lower finding your most sensitive part. He would rub it, the callouses on the tips of his fingers made the feeling somewhat odd but it felt all the better. He would rub, flick, pull, anything he could at it until you were a crying, overstimulated mess who could barely say your own name as the sheets were covered with your own cum; he would stare at you with glossed-out eyes, deep in thought like this was all new to him.
Unfortunately, you did not know that soon he would take it further then you could have guessed. It would be an actual experiment. One to make the perfect hybrid.

I am so sorry for not posting in a while I have just been busy with a big project that has taken over my brain and is my main focus, plus I have had exams. Hopefully, I can post soon and start posting the project, warning some of you may be emotionally devastated or want to kill a certain character (*cough cough* like two of my friends who already are waiting in line to have a little "talk", you know who you are *cough cough*). I may come back and edit this later.
TW: Animal death, Disembowelment/Gutting, Nearly being SA'ed, Murderer and subsequent death, Demon summoning gone wrong, Please tell me if anything that should be put as a warning was not, thanks.
When your friend had asked you if you wanted to try and summon a Demon you had not expected this. Well, kind of. You had heard of multiple ways to summon Demons from all the media you had consumed which mostly ranged from sacrificing a virgin or by creating a summoning cycle or by just contacting one through an ouija board. You had expected the latter to just be cooped up in the abandoned house that seemed to haunt your friend’s street as you had an ouija board and a few candles littering the floor.
But no.
Your friend had to go all out. And by all out you meant all out. It sent a shiver up your spine to the point you thought that this was not the first time they had done this unlike what they had claimed when they had brought up the idea to you. This all seemed too professional, too thought out. But, what did you really expect? You knew how seriously your friend took shit like this, how much research would be put into things they seemed to enjoy and this seemed to just be another case of that passion acting out in full force.
You stood before the asylum your friend had asked you to meet them at. You pulled out your phone to check if you had the right location and time.
Meet me at the Anneliese Sherman Hill Asylum. Check.
2:50AM don’t be late! Check.
You had actually come a few minutes early to make sure you were there on time for whatever your friend wanted to do, you wanted to be a good friend after all. On the other hand you thought over if this was a good idea. You were in the middle of a forest in front of a ruined and abandoned asylum that you knew junkies would visit to shoot up as it looked like a light breeze would be able to knock it down. What if this was all a prank and your friend had actually tricked you into coming here for no reason? What if they lured you here to see if you would actually come so the whole school could laugh at you?
You were by yourself, you did not want to go in alone because God knows who or what could be in there. You were an easy target after all, any lunatic could grab you and do unthinkable things. Your paranoia made you think of all the missing posters that covered your small towns of young adults like you who had gone missing to never be found or the headline on your local new station of bodies that had turned up dead and raped with their hearts missing. You shuddered. You had known some of those people who had been left as nothing but bodies for people to gawk at and say how you had met such a terrible fate.
As your thoughts began to overwhelm you and plague you with all the horrid outcomes that could come out of you going through with this you heard a noise from above. It broke you out of your train of thoughts especially when you realised that it was your name.
“Y/N! Hello Earth to dumbass! Anyone there?!” Regan called out as half of their body hung out of a fifth story window.
“Regan? Dude what the fuck! Get your ass back inside before you fall out!” You shouted back up as you watched how they nonchalantly stayed where they were.
“Are you my mom or what?! I’m not gonna fall! I’m perfectly fine!” they called back down to you with an almost song-like tone to their voice.
“I don’t give a rat’s ass! Go back in and come down here so we can get on with this!” you responded as their joy seemed to put you more on edge than anything else.
“Yes mother! Anything you say mother!” Regan grumbled as they went back inside so they could descend down the stairs and come fetch you to go through with your plan.
Insane bitch. But were you not just as insane for going through with this? Who cares? At least they showed up.
It only took a few minutes before Regan opened the door with an obnoxious creak. They saw the sour look etched onto your face and could not help but pout back at you.
“What’s up with you? I thought you were a night owl.” Regan whined.
“An asylum?” you sighed.
“Yeah, so?” Regan answered with just as much sass as you.
“Really? It’s an asylum.” You responded as you pointed at the building behind them as if they were an idiot who did not realise where the two of you were.
“By God! I didn’t notice that earlier! How did I not realise?! I must be an idiot!” They turned around to face the building acting like they had never noticed it before as they dramatically put their hands to their face to make the most over the top shocked face they were able to muster that was still somehow riddled with their usual sarcasm.
“Very funny,” you near enough snarled, which only brought a smirk to be smothered all over their face.
“Oh I know,” Regan responded.
“But seriously? An asylum out of all places?” You asked as you tried to swallow down the fear that had started to build in the pit of your stomach while you began to walk up the stairs to meet Regan at the door.
“Of fucking course! You know that asylums are some of the most haunted places in the world! It’s why they’re always used in horror movies or those shitty YouTube videos about ghost hunting. And since they’re so connected to the afterlife it will only make it so much easier for a Demon to come through.” Regan nodded as they pushed open the door so both of you could come inside.
The inside was not any better than the outside, it was far worse than you could have ever imagined. Regan had turned on the torch in their hands and began to point it around what once would have been a reception area which now looked to be a demolition site. Most of the ceiling had fallen down exposing the skeleton that once had stood proud as it kept the asylum up but now was drooping as if it could fall to pieces at any moment. The wall paper had been peeled off most of the walls to lay in piles on the floor as the walls now were coated in a constant dampness that built the perfect playground for black mould to spring to life. The two of you began to climb the stairs, having to dodge certain spots where the wood was too weak from rot or where the rot had already fully eaten through to create holes big enough for two adults to drop through into a black void.
“Yeah they’re so haunted because of all the shit that happened here. I’m just saying if I was brutally tortured and treated like a useless baby as staff act like I’m a fucking idiot all because I had a disability I would haunt the place I died. Would probably try and get my revenge on the staff,” you muttered after you had truly seen the state of what once would have been a thriving business even if it had a gruesome history.
It only took a few minutes of climbing the stairs like an obstacle course to reach the floor that Regan had set up for the two of you to summon the Demon. It was unnerving, the whole place was unnerving but this floor was different, extremely different. All the hairs on your arms to the back of your neck had stood up, your whole body was on edge as all your senses seemed to be heightened that you were able to sense everything. All the dampness you had felt when walking through the other floors seemed to have disappeared completely, replaced by an overwhelming staleness that seemed to burn your nose while your lungs felt as if they were tightening at the staleness that overwhelmed them like it was depriving them of oxygen.
The two of you continued your walk as you went deeper into the floor. The hallways were covered in graffiti ranging from phrases to names to dicks with the latter covering most of the walls as they were most likely made by the immature teens from the local highschools that had come here to ditch school and get high or had come to the asylum for fear tests to see if they were cool enough to be part of the group with whatever group had sent them in there. You had continued to walk until you reached another large door that Regan pulled open with a huff to reveal the room they had set up.
It must have originally been a social room that had been turned into a restraintment room when the asylum became overwhelmed with too many patients. Chairs, tables, medical beds, restraints, toys, anything you could think of had been piled into the room but it did not have the former glory it once had once had decades ago. All had slowly rotted away with time with the rest of this damned pace but that did not matter to you, neither did the shattered windows that leaked in some of the cool night air and moonlight as its glass decorated the floor. The only thing that mattered was how Regan had set up the room.
For you to see there were candles scattered all over the floor and on certain pieces of the furniture in either bundles of three or seven. Most were burnt around halfway down as the wax trickled to the ground, melting into the cracks of the floor as if they were filling them in. Set up on an old medical table was an altar that had a black cat tied to it as it was connected by a simple chalk line to a summoning circle that spanned over most of the floor as an ouija board laid directly in the middle of it all. It was all too much, you knew that if you were in a horror movie that you would be the first to be taken out by whatever entity had decided to go on a killing spree that day. This looked like it was directly out of a horror movie and you did not want to be part of it. You wanted to immediately turn around and run away but something was stopping you, like a dark force beyond your comprehension had taken control and forced you to stay there and continue like this was a normal everyday thing.
The two of you slowly walked over to the board and sat around it, one of you on each side. Slowly you both put your fingers on the planchette and began moving it to spell out both of your names. First Regan’s and then yours.
“Anyone here with us?” Regan asked.
Ding, ding, ding.
The old church bells rang out, far in the distance from the safety of the town to officially announce that it was finally 3AM, the witching hour. The pit in your stomach seemed to grow to the size of a blackhole as you prayed that nothing would happen as you had wished you had brought some holy water from the church.
The planchette moved.
Yes.
“How many are there?” Regan asked another question as you preferred to stay silent.
The planchette continued to move as it slid towards a number.
One.
“What are you?” you asked as you hoped it was just a tortured spirit.
The planchette rapidly moved from letter to letter to spell out the word you dreaded.
Demon.
Regan only smiled as you let out a breath you had never realised that you had been holding.
“Do you want us to free you?” Regan asked.
The planchette moved once more.
Yes.
“What will you give us in return?” Regan questioned.
The planchette moved for one last time.
Anything you wish.
Regan then got up and walked over to the altar. They reached over somewhere and pulled out a knife that you had not noticed earlier.
“What the fuck are you doing?” you asked Regan as they lifted the knife above their head.
“It needs a blood sacrifice to come through,” Regan answered.
“That’s a living fucking cat you can’t fucking do that!” You shouted back as you got up to stop them.
But you stopped in your tracks once you saw the look on their face once they turned to face you. Eyes once warm and full of life were now filled with this cold uncaringness that froze you still as it chilled your spine. Regan was normally so nice and loving but this was something different. This was not the Regan you knew. For a brief moment you thought that they were the Demon instead of the thing they were trying to summon.
“Don’t worry, I got her from a local shelter. Poor thing was in a coma, so they were gonna put her down anyway. I’m just doing it so at least her life could be useful in one way,” Regan shrugged coldly which only sent another shiver down your spine.
Although you were not able to fully process their words before they drove the knife right through the innocent cat’s body again and again and again. Blood splattered onto them in a bloody fountain while some leaked out from beneath the cat and dripped down over the edge of the metal bed as it collected in a puddle before spreading out and hitting the chalk that made up the summoning circle. The blood by some supernatural force started to multiply and flood the chalk with the crimson liquid before it came to life with a sudden burst of flames that knocked you to the ground with a thud.
Your head hit the floor and everything seemed to blur as you let out a pathetic groan. Even with the blur you could see the flames as they spread around the room causing everything flammable to catch alight to be turned to ash by its gluttonous hunger. You had started to accept your fate of being engulfed by the flames as all your body felt like it was being weighed down by a thousand suns making it impossible to scream. That was until you heard that glass shattering scream followed by a maniac laughter that echoed around the room. You just had to look up, how could you not?
Your eyes strained to try and figure out the shape hunched over the altar as your whole body screamed out not too as you began to force yourself to sit up. It only took a few moments before you saw it.
It was a disgusting thing you had never seen the likes of before. A ghastly mass of muscles and eyes that shambled in its movements, the only thing keeping it together were the scales scattered over the exposed flesh that glistened in the flames by the mucus that coated the veins that pulsed alive with the demonic blood that spewed through them. It made you sick. Especially when you saw the seven long, obsidian claws that were driven right through your (now ex) friend’s chest, blood gurgling out of their mouth with bubbles as it spilt onto the floor.
That thing unrolled a tumorous tongue from its skewered maul that was made up of eyes upon eyes piled onto flesh, exposing the rows upon rows that covered the inside of the dog-like jaw. The thing pulled it upwards, licking up all the blood with a guttural groan as if such a thing gave it a sickening pleasure.
“Thank you for summoning me, finally don’t have to use an avatar to have my fun now,” it told you with a sadistic smile on its face, it did not need to even move its mouth for its words to come out, you could still hear its raspy voice anyway.
It turned its head back to your friend and used its claws to carve its way down your friend's chest before pulling back their skin to expose their wet inside to the smokey air. First it took their intestines out and wrapped it around their horns which spiralled upwards as if they had once been joined together to make a circle. Then it pulled out Regan’s heart and chucked it into its mouth and chewed on it for a few seconds before spitting it out in disgust.
“Ugh, disgusting... impure..." It growled before turning to you.
It turned its claws downwards and slowly let Regan drop off like they were a toy that had unsatisfied it as it let their body crumple with a thud. It slowly began to crawl to you as it spoke again with that haunting voice that seemed to fill your body.
“I’ll have fun with them later but how about I try a pretty thing like you out first?” it asked mockingly as if it was trying to toy with you in what should have been your last moments.
You tried to desperately crawl away but your body was too weak from the floor to move to save yourself from whatever it wanted. You wanted to scream and shout to try and get someone to notice you so they could save you from your gruesome fate that played out in front of you. But your voice seemed to have vanished, replaced by the burning in your lungs that was caused by the smoke that seemed to fill the room as the oxygen was quickly used up.
Admittedly you sometimes wanted to die when life became too much and the voices seemed to drown out any rational thought but you had never planned to die like this at the hands of that beast. You kept trying to squirm away until it pounced onto your back, pinning you to the floor with an excruciating weight that stopped all of your movements as the little breath you had left was knocked out of you. You wanted to kick yourself free and beat the shit out of this sick fuck but your body had decided otherwise. In all honesty you began to give up especially when you felt its drool and breath run over your neck as it thrusted against your thigh. Tears started to swell up in your eyes as you wanted them to stay put but stream down all at the same time as that sick fuck began to laugh.
Then nothing.
It seemed to stop laughing or moving or even moving. Its weight then fell on you with full force keeping you pinned more than you thought it could before. Then you began to feel wet. Wet all over. As if a warm liquid had been spilt all over you. Then suddenly all the weight seemed to be pulled away as you finally seemed to be able to breathe a true breath even if it was filled with smoke.
You could not understand why it had suddenly stopped. Maybe it thought about how atrocious it was acting? Impossible. So you decided to turn around even if instincts were telling you not to and instead run.
As soon as you turned around you wanted to scream at what you saw. Laying in front of you was a dead Demon laying in a pool of black blood that had soaked into your clothes and behind it, oh God what the fuck was behind it. It looked like a man but it was too tall as four wings sprouted from its back while horns sprouted from its head much like the Demon it had killed but these ones were joined together to create a circle that emitted a light. From beneath the robes, chains, and bones that obscured its body you could see some clearly defined muscles riddled with scars that would have made you slightly blush if you were not thinking about the long metal blade it was pointing towards you as murderous eyes hid behind a skull of a more humanoid demon.
You coward in fear thinking it would kill you like it had done in fear. You whimpered as you pulled your body into itself in a pathetic display and it seemed to... hesitate? You reopened your eyes to look at it as its eyes seemed to be filled by something but you could truly not tell what. It looked away as if thinking for a minute before turning back to you as it lowered his sword.
“C’mon..." it said in a gravelly voice that seemed British as you first heard it.
You did what it said as you felt like you had no other choice as it could clearly kill you. You slowly got up with wobbling legs as you walked over to it to take the bandage hand it had offered. As you took its hand a beam of light came through the roof and not a second later you felt yourself being pulled up with great strength. You screamed as you felt yourself being pulled tight against its chest. Your arms wrapped tightly around the creature as you could feel the toned abs beneath the robes causing a blush to lightly dust your cheeks.
Below you saw the asylum as it burnt away to cinders with the body of Rean, the poor cat, and the Demon inside. Then you turned to see the being that had saved you once more as it continued to fly upwards. That was when you realised what it was. An Angel.
People joked about how Angels actually looked terrifying and that was why they said ‘Do not be afraid.’ when they first saw humans. When looking at the one that held you tightly you understood perfectly as to why. But for now you felt safe as you realised that it was most likely taking you to Heaven.
This was probably not the ending you had thought of when you had agreed to summon a Demon but maybe being saved by this Angel was actually the best choice at the moment.

So, hi. Sorry, I have not posted in a few days as I have been busy with family. I still can not believe that this is my last post of 2023 since I still can not believe it is the end of the year as it does not feel like it. So yay to a breakdown over the passage of time. To be fair I am not fully happy with it so I may come back and edit it in the future. I just want to say a quick thank you for all the support as I honestly did not expect anyone to enjoy my writing, I hope all your New Year's resolutions come true. Hopefully, I can post more in the coming year as I am planning for more AUs and hopefully a full rewrite of COD MW with some extras. If you guys like this fanfic I will try to post more fanfics and maybe make this summoning fic a series of Ghost taking care of reader and hiding them in Heaven. Or I will try to post some mini-fics depending on what people want so if anyone has any ideas just put them in my askbox and I will try to write a fic on it, even smut. And I may post some headcanons of the characters. Also if you want to be tagged in anything just say as I am trying to organise everything so we can have smooth sailing in the future. But I hope you liked this as I have not wrote a fanfic in a good while. But Happy New Year's Eve and Happy New Year!!!!
Residing among the clouds, far into the sky above looming over all the mortals below is the pearly gates of Heaven. Standing tall the cold golden gates separate all the souls from what they may experience if they are lucky enough to be accepted through as people say an unfit ring is tight but the rules to be accepted into Heaven are tighter.
But what most people may not know that just beyond the gates is not just an ethereal land beyond the wildest dreams of even the most exclaimed poets with their muses. From the churning clogs of the outer cities that moved the ever growing pillars that would formed into new structures where their residents could pry away from the holiest of eyes as flora spilled out of cracks in the ancient stone as it cascaded down to the streets to the middle cities that consisted entirely of floating islands and mountain ranges kept hidden from the outer city residents by the persistent fogs of clouds that enveloped it in a permanent mist that would never reveal the temples carved from the mountains that must have inspired the temples and colosseums on Earth as waterfalls flow down into the clouds below to the inner cities that have less buildings except for a few special ones that were designated to be there by the Almighty as the many stars, hatched or unhatched, come together to make constellations that the Angels blessed enough to live there call home, it is mostly empty space as the Angels who live there do not need the luxuries but need the space compared to the rest of their brethren.
A total of nine cities all together, each one forming a ring around the pillar of light. The innermost three are the smallest as the least amount of Angels live there compared to the outermost three are the largest as an abundance of Angels live there. Each ring became larger as it was further away from the pillar but the light that graced them instead became duller but it was never not there as even if it was dull there had to be light.
The backdrop formed from a never ending nebula that no living mortal would be blessed enough to see. A starry night of colours unimaginable and seeable to mortals that painted a picture only the ethereal residents could behold as new angels emerged from the stars, bursting open from the shell that kept them separated from their brethren. But none of that mattered as the only thing the angels seemed to bother over resided in the middle of Heaven. A pillar of light, no, a pillar of pure energy and colour that would gyre around itself before entering into another plane of existence entirely to build the throne of the Almighty as a chorus of wings twisted and moulded together twisted alongside the pillar as it sang out in praise an echoing melody that filled every millimetre in Heaven, a constant reminder of its leader.
Instead of the confines of the military the characters from COD find themselves instead caged behind the gates of Heaven to live in a paradise made to fulfil every wish and dream. Replacing the ranks of the military are the ethereal residents of Heaven consisting of mostly Angels and a few other holy creatures. The First Hierarchy consisting of the Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones or also known as the Wheels then the Second Hierarchy consisting of the Dominions, Virtues, and Powers then the Third Hierarchy consisting of the Principalities, Archangels, and Angels which can be separated into the Common Angels and Guardian Angels, although the last ranking of Heaven are the Putto and the Ethereals that are not exactly Angels but holy nonetheless. Each rank but the Ethereals are split into three. The Highers, the most righteous of that rank, only consisting of five percent of the rank, they are the Angels deemed to be the most perfect forms of that rank. The ones with no title but that of the rank are known to be the average, not too powerful and not too weak, the model example of that rank which makes up eighty percent of the rank. The Lowers, the weakest of that rank, known to be the Angels that just scrape the bare minimum of requirements needed to be an Angel of that rank.
The First Hierarchy are the Godly Servants, the Second Hierarchy are the Heavenly Rulers, and the Third Hierarchy are the Earthly Messengers. Instead of being separated into ranks by their power they are separated by how close they are to the Almighty. The Godly Servants only purpose is to exist within Heaven and carry out acts immediately next to God while the Heavenly Rulers exclusively exist within the confines of Heaven however their actions affect the mortals upon on Earth, however the Earthly Messengers like what the same suggests are the angels that directly interact with Earth’s mortal and can either reside on Earth with their mortals or in Heaven.
Seraphim: The Angels closest to the Almighty that either have an eye as a head or a human head as their body is supposedly of a human form made up of light with six feathered wings attached to their back. The head has rarely been glimpsed by any Angels of other ranks as they only allow the other Seraphim or the Almighty and other beings just as Holy to see it. They do it by using two of the wings to cover their face with two of their wings being used to cover their feet as the two other wings are constantly waving back and forth as to keep themselves a float next to the Almighty to continue their duties. The Seraphim are considered the highest in the hierarchy by all the other Angels due to how their duty is to be constantly next to the Almighty as they are the caretakers of the throne who move it about when the Almighty wants to move as they are constantly singing the praises of the Almighty.
Cherubim: The Angels that surround the Almighty but are slightly further away than the Seraphim as they are made up of four faces: the head of a man, the head of an oxen, the head of a lion, and the head of an eagle with the the body of either a lion or a man or even both with the upper torso of a man attached to the body of a lion instead of having human legs much like that of a centaur, they have the feet of an oxen and have an unnamed amount of their wings that are covered with eyes. As they constantly moved around Heaven a bright fire that glowed with every colour known to man and not, and out of this fire came strikes of lightning and thunder as a ring of stones lit ablaze surrounded them. Their duty was that as the Almighty sits on the throne that they say be beneath it as one Cherub is chosen to guide and help the Seraphim in moving it while the other Cherubims act as the guards around the throne of the Almighty.
Thrones or Wheels: The Angels that surround the Almighty with no specific duty they have the most range in their appearance as they are four wheels within wheels are constantly spinning, never stopping as they have four wings, two to fly and two to cover part of itself, with eyes covering every inch of the wheels looking in every direction and from within them in their centre was a fire that was like it held a kaleidoscope of colours within itself instead of the normal colours of a blaze as it continued to burn from inside of the spinning wheel as there are eyes or beings or creatures that are surrounded and stay within the flames. They are the biggest Angels compared to the rest as they are ginormous being larger than mountains as segments of their rings reside beneath the sky as they can be larger than the sky or the mountains or the ocean or even larger if the moment called for it, they are so large that whenever they moved their wings it sounded as if it was waves of the sea in a storm were crashing against a cliff side to destroy it and that whenever they whispered a word it was as if it was breaking eardrums like a banging thunder storm. They have no specific duty but to sing the praises of the Almighty as the other Angels such as the Cherubim reach into their flames to take out coal that burns in colours unimaginable to any mortal when they are blessing a house.
Dominions: The Angels that are the judges and regulators of Heaven, they like all the Angels in the Heavenly Rulers and Earthly Messengers look similar to the Common Angels but what make the Dominions unique are the golden staff held in their right hand and in their left hand is the seal of the Almighty as they are dressed like the royalty of Earth as they are decked in gold as a physical reminder to the lower Angels that they are the ones that keep them in line and makes sure that they do their duties. While their duties that affect Earth and mortal as a judge for the Almighty when it is deemed that judgement is necessary and they then carry out the action like whenever mortals have a large scale conflict where they battle against each other as to pass judgement on the warriors but also bring mercy upon the warriors who need it as they are the judges that the Almighty needs to both bring the punishment and mercy need. But, they also have dominion over certain areas of Earth through concepts such as wisdom or leadership which they will gift to their favoured rulers through dominions. As mentioned before they have reign over the lower rank Angels but they also reign over things such as the cosmos, the planets, the stars, and everything that makes up the sky and galaxy.
Virtues: The Angels of nature made up of a shining, bright fire like it is a light itself which has given them the name of the shining ones as if they are directly linked to the Seraphim in appearance as the Seraphim are known as the fiery ones but they are instead depicted to look like the Common Angels as the things that make them unique is the white lilies that represent the perfection of the Almighty are held in in one hand and red roses that the represent the love and blood of Christ are held in another. Their duty is to be the governors over nature and the elements themselves, but not just nature as in the wilderness but also the nature of mortals as they are the ones that are Angels giving mortals things such as faith, courage, strength and valour when mortals pray to the Almighty for their faith to be strengthened or when the Almighty needs someone needs them to impart help on a mortal who gravely needs it. It is this power of nature that allows for them to be sent by the Almighty to perform miracles in the Almighty’s name upon Earth when it is needed. They are in general the Angels that are tasked with giving all of the good types of attitudes or spirits that people have and are the direct reason for the spirits that make individuals themselves and not carbon copies of each other.
Powers: The Angels that make up Heaven’s army, covered in armour made of a mixture of the shells of stars, Holy light, and gold alongside some form of weaponry at their side which can be anything from a sword to a spear to a bow with arrows of light. Their duty as the army of Heaven make them a force of anti-demonic warriors to be the guardians against demonic presence as they constantly fight both a physical and spiritual war with the demons that have infected Earth as the Powers are fighting temptation to stop the Devil and his legion of Fallen Angels from convincing people to commit sins or try to put their influence over people to cause wars and more sins to be committed and the Demons that try to tear their way back through the gates to drag more Angels down to Hell alongside them meaning that most have to guard the gate that separates both Heaven and Earth and have to escort the souls that have died over into Heaven and through the gates as to make sure that no Demon can steal the soul or follow it into Heaven. While Cherubims are the Almighty’s guards the Powers play a more significant task by being the guards of the entirety of Heaven itself as they bless mortals, specifically the leaders, power to fight off the wickedness and evil of the Devil.
Principalities: The Angels that rule over Earth, decorated with royal attire alongside their own crown and sceptre made entirely of gold and the most valuable of jewels. Their duty is to rule over different regions of Earth which can be anything from the biggest of nations to the smallest villages to the monarchs of great empires to the small groups of people to even the churches, they practically rule over everything that makes up Earth as to make sure that the ministries of Earth continues on for millenia to come. Due to being the Angels that are focused on ruling over people and the different areas of Earth they are given the duty to bless mortals with a blessing of divine knowledge which is to help mortals make breakthroughs in science as to benefit humanity, or by helping mortals discover a talent, or by helping mortals create art to make the groundbreaking and breathtaking pieces of art that relate to the Almighty. Although they can also give out strength like the Powers and Virtues if they deem that it is needed by certain mortals that the Powers may have missed as it was not related to Demons or the Virtues may have missed as it was not related to the Almighty.
Archangels: The Angels that are the most tricky to explain as they has only ever specifically identified as an Archangel and that is the Archangel Michael the warrior which makes it look as if there can only be one Archangel as the Archangel is overarching that will be the one to finally get rid of the Devil at the end of time which makes it most believable that there is only one. But, then there is the messenger Gabriel and how in Revelations when it talks through the end of times it mentions how there are two Angels there overall which implies that they are most likely on the same level as each other, then again in Revelations it mentions that alongside with Michael surrounding the throne of the Almighty when there is the final fight against the Devil that there is six other Angels alongside him. These six are believed to be Raphael the Angel of Healing and leader of the Virtues, Gabriel the Angel who is the Almighty’s messenger, Jophiel the Angel of Beauty, Ariel the Angel of Nature, Azrael the Angel of Death, and Chamuel the Angel of Relations. They are most likely the most powerful Angels of all as they are warriors and Angels of these different ideas or different categories but since Raphael is believed to be a Virtue and Michael is believed be a Seraph it means that Archangels are not their own classification of Angel but instead a title given to these very seven important Angels.
Common Angels: The Angels that are most common due to their abundance, they look near identical to humans but have wings like a dove and are much taller than humans but the proportions of their limbs is off which at first makes them unnerving. Their duty can be anything from creating small miracles to serving and protecting Christians to going back and forth to receive and deliver messages as they use their great amounts of power to perform the duties of Heaven.
Guardian Angels: The Angels that are technically Common Angels but have been given the duty to watch over a specific soul that they should protect and help. The only difference between the Guardian Angels is that they wear a specialised rosary that links them to the soul that they protect.
Puttos: The Angels what most people think of when they hear Cherubs due to art but these small children with wings are actually the Angels in Heaven that spread mischievous and pranks around Heaven to keep the Angels of higher ranks happy by entertaining them with their games.
Ethereals: Beings that are not Angels but are instead welcomed to stay into Heaven due to being Holy in nature. This can be the Unicorns that link to a virgin that they must protect, or the souls that have the ability to project their soul and turn it into a wolf to help the Angels when they sleep, or the spiders that use their threads to weave together parts of Heaven that need rebuilding after the Angels have had accidents with their powers, or other creatures that mortals did not even know existed.
Each Angel is born from a star and is directly linked to that star. They make a tear through the middle of the star and emerge out as if they were a butterfly escaping the chrysalis that had kept them safe through their transformation. It is believed that whenever there is a shooting star that it is an Angel that has fallen from Heaven. Angels can change their form to suit their own specific taste but can not transform to be of a form of an Angel higher ranking than them although they can transform themselves to have appearances or pieces to make themselves look unique as long as they have the necessities in appearance for other Angels to identify what rank they are.
Sorry if anything is wrong, this is me using information I learnt from my Christian upbringing and have been told by people I know who are a lot more knowledgeable than me with this subject and I have tried to condense it as much as I can. This is an AU that anyone can use but this is just the foundation and base and the basic rules to it so people can build from it and have a starting point to expand from. Soon I will be posting my version of COD characters as Angels which people can use for stories or headcanons. All I ask is to use the tag I made for the AU, for you to credit me for the AU, and credit me for using my version of the character, apart from that go wild and have fun with this AU.
Hybrids between Ethereals were rare, in fact they were near nonexistent as most species tended to keep to themselves so a hybrid between an Ethereal and Angel was unheard of. A hybrid of that nature was deemed impossible as the Angels that did reproduce were nearly all outcasted an eternity ago, then you also heard the fear that also reigned over the minds of most Angels as it was not uncommon to hear rumours that if an Angel did have sex in general that they would be outcasted. But, this did not take into consideration hybrid Angels that were experiments; holy creatures made by the Almighty in an attempt to improve the powers that certain types of Angels had to make them more useful against the creatures of Hell.
That was when the first hybrid between the structure of an Ethereal and an Angel was born.
For the first one to be ever made the Almighty wanted to go all out. Even a creature such as the Almighty was sceptical as to if it would work as even in all the time that the Almighty had been alive something such as this had never been made. Once the Seraphim heard about the experiment it got to the Cherubim then the Thrones then the Dominions until all of Heaven had heard of the experiment. The elders of the Seraphim and a few other Angels disagreed with the idea saying that it was bad and could cause chaos but most of Heaven agreed with the idea which led to a competition being born. Whichever Angel could find all the parts of different Ethereals and have the Almighty agree that the parts were perfect would be blessed with a reward of their wildest dreams.
A young Angel, a simple Virtue who had grown attached to the babies that the humans cared for, came to the Almighty with the parts needed for the experiment. The pincers and legs of a spider that had been killed by a horde of Demons when it was weaving its thread and silk to form a new part of Heaven; the horn of a unicorn that had been ripped off due to the unicorn’s failure to keep their maiden a virgin; the claws of one of the wolves that had saved her from a Demon attack; the fangs and horns of the weaker Krampusse under the rule of Krampus, weird creatures of Hell that were the only Demons accepted into Heaven under the watch of Powers as their cause was seen as purer compared to other Demons that did not fully care about tormenting Angels or spreading sin on Earth. The parts were barely damaged, perfect to be used for the newest experiment that the Almighty planned. The Almighty deemed them as useful and acceptable for the experiment and in return for helping in this experiment, the Almighty blessed her with an important role that would fulfil her desire. She would be the “mother” of the hybrid as unlike the Angels that were born as adults this hybrid would be born a baby due to the unstable nature of the hybrid and as a backup plan in case anything went wrong as a weak baby that knew nothing was easier to kill than an adult.
The day or well the event itself was a spectacle. Everyone wanted to see the birth of this experiment, to see what would happen when Angels and Ethereals were brought together into one being. A perfect mix that was left to incubate until it was stable enough to be able to exist. The tension was palpable as all of Heaven gathered around the star Muscida to see the unique being that would hatch forth. It was not long before it finally hatched as if it could feel the expecting eyes watching it, waiting for it, everyone wanting to see it.
The star began to glow as it slowly began to expand and expand.
Bang.
It exploded, releasing an array of colours that spread out creating a web around the remains of the shell which the new creature had hatched from. The thing was wrapped in a layer of light that even blinded the Angels, no one could see its true form as it was hidden behind the light and before the light had chance to dim that experiment had been taken away by Michael to be given to the Almighty and the awaiting mother.
The creature was raised by a caring heart but was trained as soon as it could understand commands, its only purpose was to keep the Almighty safe and kill as many demons as it could find. A Seraphim mutated by the pieces of other creatures, a monster, an abomination. Never accepted by other Seraphim or the Cherubim who had to begrudgingly tolerate it while it was praised by the masses of lower Angels for massacring any Demons that came to close or even broke into Heaven; a balance of hate and love that was enough to fuck up anyone’s mind especially an Angel that only chased after the blood of Demons like it was a source of food.
For a creature so praised that was even welcomed alongside the Powers even if it was a completely different rank, no one knew what it looked like. Yes, Angels knew the rumours that had been passed from the Seraphims in a game of telephone. It was supposed to be monstrous, horrid even compared to creatures like the Thrones, a slight against the Almighty who must have been out of mind when creating the damned thing, the epitome of the phrase ‘Do not be afraid’. Most did not believe it as they could slightly see the chiselled body which was hidden behind robes that hung loosely from its body, although some Angels believed that behind the wings and veil that covered the face was the thing that was the true horror as all they ever got glimpses of were three icey, blue eyes on the left side of the face that never blinked but instead had a red tint to it whenever light caught it.
But those who had seen it would not truly call it a monster even if it had the features of one. The only few people who had seen the true form were its “mother”, the seven Archangels, the Almighty, and other Seraphim. In her deranged state the “mother” of course accepted it, no matter the appearance she would have been accepting because that was the baby that she had dreamed of. The Archangels did not care as why would they? They were too important, too busy to care about another experiment, yes a few of them thought it was a bit horrifying but most of the higher Angels were horrifying so in their opinion it fit right in. The Almighty did not care at all, in fact pride was the only thing the Almighty felt towards the experiment even with its appearance as that was just a testament as to what it was, it was all that was dreamed of, a perfect being of destruction that at first glance would be believed to be a total failure or impossible but it was not, no not at all. It was the first and was proof that it could work, to make hybrids that had the abilities of the Ethereals that could make Angels even more powerful than they already were like how in Hell they had been making hybrids to make Demons more stronger. All it was was proof to the Almighty even if more hybrids would be weaker or mixed with only one or two Ethereal types. But for the Seraphim it depended on who was the one answering the question. Most believed it to be a horrifying abomination, an insult to their kind to have their form mutated with the parts of less holy beings, although a minority of the Seraphim were accepting as it was not their place to judge as it was the Almighty’s favourite pet out of them all.
So, what did it look like? Was it truly horrifying under the mask? Well it depends on what is deemed as horrifying which depends on the person who sees it.
Like all Seraphim it had six wings: a pair to hide the face, a pair to fly that were not hiding anything, and a pair to hide the feet. The feathers were pure white at first glance but when the light hit at certain angles or they were tilted a certain way each feather was tinted with its very own colour, no colour was the same making each one unique. Its skin was slightly tanned but riddled with scars and the freckles, the scars were golden and were mostly slash wounds from when it had fought with Demons while the freckles looked like stars had been scattered across its chest, back, and face. Its hair was long and consisted of three forms, the first where it seemed to be lines of pure gold that was fluffy like cotton candy, the second a great blaze that could be lit on command as a way form of a threat as it was a wild mess, and the third was for after the hair had been turned to fire as it was consumed in soot to the point that it looked like obsidian as it was thing and like thin branches. Most of the time loose strands of hair were in front of its face or it was held behind its horns. It had three horns, a spiralling horn that curved into a point which would change colour depending on its mood while on the side instead of ears were two ram horns either side that had a slight raised spike of a horn at the base which would be considered an extra pair of horns if they were not attached to the other horns. The mouth would stretch far wider than humanly possible to show a set of teeth mostly made of canines with a tongue could wrap around most creatures easily as two chelicerae lay at the corners of the lips ready to inject Demons with a poison that would surely kill them in a moment. Technically it had four arms, all of which ended with claws, attached to its body as pedipalps attached to its arms looked like arms while it already had two normal arms attached to a body that was chiselled but chiselled to be a tank that could withstand attacks as the muscle was hidden under a protective layer of fat. On its face was a total of five eyes, three on the left and two on the right. All were an icey blue that looked like you were staring at the ocean through ice as the main right eye had one above it as the main left eye had one above and one below. And a crooked nose that had been broken a far few times due to Seraphim that just did not like when it opened its mouth to brag. What it was most embarrassed about though was the tail due to the sensitivity of the poor appendage. A long, tapered thing which was covered in a soft, silk-like fur before near two thirds through it bushed out into a soft pillow.
Compared to most Seraphim it was large, very large. Taller than all the others except for a select few as it towered over not just the other Seraphim but most of the beings in Heaven except for the Thrones that tended to be double its height. But, it was not just its height or mutated appearance that set it apart from the others, it was also the halo. Yes it may have been made up of light and was a circular disk, acting much like it was from a painting of a Saint as if it was a golden disk attached to the back of its head, but it did not just have lines of light coming out of it, no, it was slightly more disturbing. Arms circled around the halo, then eyes circled the arms, before it was finally circled by more beams of light.
Although it was not just its appearance that had it hated but instead some others that had directly dealt with it hated it for the egotistical personality.
Now how would one deal with many conflicting emotions and what sort of creature would it create? The emotions of technically being the only one of your kind, being at the time the only hybrid and when the other hybrids were made you were the only hybrid like that and the species you belonged to as a hybrid either seemed to praise you as a saviour or hated you for just existing. That same species that rejected you were so powerful but made you feel so much smaller as they bullied and ostracised you for what you were even though you could crush them under your feet. Then due to their ostracisation you could not do the job you felt you needed to do as it was in your nature as none of them trusted you, instead you were trained to become a mindless killer like the Angels so below you in righteousness. But how did that mix with being praised and glorified by your creator for just existing and being the perfect model as everyone eyes seemed to be watching you, waiting for you to screw up to be killed as you had such higher standards put to you compared to the mindless drones of creatures that adore you and kissed at your feet for being a killer and such a holy thing.
It created a mess, an unstable mess. A volatile cocktail of a violent, insecure, paranoid, cocky thing with too much confidence while being riddled with anxiety as a God complex was filled by all the praises that it had heard its whole life causing such an inferiority and superiority complex that did nothing to help the anger issues. No being wiser to the unholy thoughts that riddled its mind and actions due to the Demon and somewhat mortal structures that affected its nature as it could get away with most of the things it wanted since who would dare attack him for taking his frustrations out on others.
It made him.
König.
The King of the Hybrids, the experiment, one of Heaven’s finest killers.
Powers were the hardest of all the Angels to get close to which made it all the more difficult to learn about them and furthermore understand them and the contradicting nature that controls their existence. When Powers were together in large groups on the battlefield or even when they were resting in their barracks in Heaven they seemed to be made up of a collective hivemind, all acting as if they were appendages of the same body tasked to do different things that when put together made complete sense to them but only them alone. But, when alone they seemed to be numb, almost nonexistent as they would stand there watching everything else, only moving or talking when it was deemed necessary or whenever there was a Demon around.
The only emotions that other Angels ever noticed in the Powers were normally either nothing at all or an unstoppable violent rage that would be more fit for someone like Satan to use. Although in secret, surrounded in the safety of the others of their kind or even just when they were alone with people they trust, Powers were seen to display two other emotions, grief and comadiary. If another Power they were close to had the unfortunate demise of dying at the hands of a Demon the Powers that were closest to it would build a shrine for their fallen at which they would mourn and cry at what they had lost. While on the other side of the spectrum, if they had a glorious battle where thousands upon thousands of Demons were killed they were known to privately celebrate with each other by having their own parties and telling jokes to one another as they enjoyed the taste of their friendships and victory.
It was rare for a Power to be by themselves even if it was a task given by the higher-up Angels, except for a rare few cases of Powers that voluntarily stayed alone as if they had been outcasted by the rest for doing something wrong which would not get them kicked out of Heaven but was looked down upon by the others.
If you would ask any Angel if they knew of a Power that voluntarily stayed by itself, most would answer no but if you met the rare few that had witnessed the aftermath of an encounter with him they would all give you the same name.
The Ghost.
No Angel knew his real name, it was believed he did not have one, the only name that he had was the nickname that had been given to him by the other Powers and by Demons. And that nickname was earned, well earned.
He was said to act like a ghost, hiding in the shadows as it stalked its prey like a predator waiting for the right moment to pounce. A being that could be there for one second but as soon as you moved your head to look somewhere else even if it was for less than half a second, when you turned your head back to see him once more he would be gone. Although you could always tell when he was around as the room was completely cold, devoid of any noise as a shiver would rattle through your spine to put every hair on edge. Each sense would be on edge to see if they could catch any sign of him but all of those attempts would be futile as time seemed to stop around him, and he was silent to the point that everyone who had encountered him thought he was mute as no noise would ever be produced by him. Some Angels would joke that the name Wraith would be better suited for him as he was as violent as one, known to rip the heads off of Demons he fought with his own bare hands if he was not bothered enough to use a weapon, if he was command to wipe an area of all the Demons or other enemies that resided there by the time he was done there would be none left.
It would be agreed upon by anyone that heard about him that he was strange even for a Power. Alone and silent. What made it far worse would be the fact that no other Powers seemed to know where he came from. He was an anomaly. No star could be matched to him, it was speculated that he would have come from a star that either surrounded Venus or Mars like most other Powers but no hatched star had an undocumented Angel. Each star hatched around the areas was matched to a Power in their documents, dead or alive or even fallen. Some Powers had taken it upon themselves to go through every Power that had ever emerged to see if any that were believed to be dead or missing would be able to match to him but they found none that even came close. While cockier Powers that were higher in rankings from the amount of Demons that had been slayed by the swords had gone to challenge him to a fight. Those fights had only forced him into a deeper isolation as the Powers all stood defeated with egos so bruised that they would be mistaken to be the lowest and weakest of the Powers with how their confidence was shattered into pieces that would amount the number of the stars, and as anyone would know if you were to bruise the ego of people who believed themselves to be better you would suffer at their hands as they would try anything to gain back the power they thought to have lost through the humiliation. They convinced any Power that would listen to ostracise him from the rest as he was violent and did not care about hurting others of his own, hypocritical as they had been the ones to go for a fight but they did not tell anyone that they had asked for the fight as it only made it all the more easier to paint him as different, to secure their goal made purely from spite. It was painted that he would have not cared about being ostracised and outcasted as he had started it himself. Most tended not to care as he was just a mystery that would distract from their role. No name, no backstory. If he wanted to be outcasted then they would only follow by the example he set. Why would they bother to care when he did his job like the rest, not to forget how effectively he would do the job as he had already accumulated a large number of vanquished Demons.
By all definitions, he was a nobody. A Power that seemed to have randomly appeared one day to kill all Demons with no desire to interact with anyone. No story or life to be focused on. No connection to other Powers as for some reason no other Power was able to mentally attach to him with their hivemind-like link as all that tried seemed to be overwhelmed with a headache that was as agonosing as being stabbed with the unholiest of weapons as all they seemed to see was blood stained claws or nothing inside his mind.
It even got to the point that it was debated over what he looked like as those who did see him never lived to tell the tale but there were rumours of there apparently being two as the Angels that had been luckily, or well unlucky, enough to have seen him had described his armour in the same way but the rare few details they gave of his body would look either one of two ways even if it was just about his hair colour or his height.
The Ghost did not wear the normal armour like the other powers did instead of it being made of the holy light and shell of stars his was instead made of the bones of Demons and the Netherstone that formed on the borders of Hell at which the Angels and Demons would fight at. He wore the skull of a Demon over his face instead of a helmet as the small cracks in the skull allowed people to see small glimpses of his face if they dared to get close enough. Then covering his body was a unique set of armour that was unlike the armour of the other Powers that tended to be styled in the fashion of gladiator or mediaeval armour that was usually decorated with carvings of long forgotten battles, runes of lost tongues, or the sweetest of flowers. Over his head, obscuring his mask to a degree was a loose black hood that connected to the loose black fabric that was fashioned around his body; the fabric had been fashioned into a sleeveless and buttonless trench coat with the hole for his left arm dropping just below the elbow as the long fabric dragged behind him before it pulled up at a point as the right side was not worn normally but instead draped over his shoulder to cover his right pec before crossing over to hide his left ribs before it tied off by Netherstone chains to keep it secure in place as the fabric that was left continued to drape down his side. The “trousers” he wore was actually just a simple piece of loose fabric similar to a long shirt that gave his legs and other parts the perfect amount of freedom he needed when fighting. It hung to his body by Netherstone chains that were thrown over his left shoulder as it was draped in such a fashion that it exposed some of his thigh and his hips but kept what was in the middle a secret. A full rib cage and spinal cord lay on top of the fabric as it was decorated with cracks filled with Netherstone as the ornaments on his shoulders were made from several shoulder blades that fanned out to take the appearance of wings as they were connected to the collarbone he also wore. And from out of the fabric that draped from his right shoulder was a singular piece of armour that was fashioned to look like the armour of other Powers even if it was made from Netherstone, it covered his right arm as it itself was covered in splinters of bone leaving only fragments of the metal exposed. Both of his hands and his left arm had been covered in bandages but the claws that ended his hands were still visible as to inflict damage onto his enemies. Nearly all the fabric was riddled with cuts and holes from the numerous years of fighting they had withstood as more chains were draped around his body.
Most would agree that with his armour on he closely resembled a Fallen Angel or an Angel of Death or even the mostly extinct Watchers, due to most falling a long ago, as his attire bore a resemblance to all three but it was easy to tell that he was a Power as out of his head sprouted horns that fused together at the top to create a halo that was fused into the body as it casted out a blinding light. But another staple of Powers that he had was a sword that could burst to life with a flame made of light that was specifically given to Powers to be able to kill Demons.
But under the armour was what you would expect from any Power but with some very noticeable differences. Most that had seen strands of his hair would debate on if it was a messy, greyed blonde or a dark brunette but next to his hair were two small wings instead of ears that seemed to be sewn on, but nevertheless the smaller wings matched the four much larger wings that were attached to his back, each feather was white but seemed to be greying as when the light hit them they seemed to reflect back the colour black. With one set of baby blue eyes and another set of eyes below it that were pure black and oozed out a black goo as if the eyes were crying while it seemed as if he was smiling even if his scarred lips were frowning as he had the scar of a Glasgow smile engraved into his cheeks. Covering his whole face seemed to be a faded imprint of a skull that had been decorated on by a mixture of coal and chalk; all was included like the fangs and other teeth to sockets formed around all four of his eyes. The imprint did not seem to be made by a professional and could only be seen if you were close enough to his face to feel his breath as most of the powder that had once been so bright had lost its vigour over the eyes as he never seemed to repaint over it. It was obvious he had the build of the Power as like most he was bulky as he could be, he was most definite larger than most as his chest was the size of two Powers put side by side but his height was debated on if he was as tall as the largest mountain ash tree or just a few feet shorter than it. His pale body was riddled with scars as covering his left hand, his left arm, both of his feet and calves, and most of the flesh above the left ribs was a moving black ooze that seemed imbedded into his skin, it was as if someone had pushed ink into his skin and let it spread out as it would do in water to make ornate patterns as it curled around his muscles and turned his nails to claws. A slightly spectral aura seemed to cling to his form as sometimes when the light hit his body he seemed see through as if he was merely a hallucination on the spot as it also seemed to make him seem as skeletal as his armour even with all his muscle to contest such an idea.
His appearance matched his personality. It was just as mysterious with odd additions of unknown origins that seemed to appear out of nowhere just as he did.
It truly made him.
