With that, he turns to look at Etho, mustering up a smile, “Well uh, seems like we’ll be spending a lot of time together! I look forward to it.”

Etho simply looks him over, red eye going up and down. He doesn’t say anything in return as he turns and goes back downstairs, leaving Bdubs with Xisuma.

“Hey!” Bdubs shouts after him, feeling a bit annoyed. “Don’t be rude!”

“Sorry about him.” Xisuma apologizes, “He’s a lot nicer than he seems. He just has to warm up to you.” He says, and Bdubs tries to put faith in that.

Rewatching Etho's Secret Life with my sibling and figuring out how to draw him rn

(the angel doodles are mostly inspired by the weeping angel task, but I just think it looks cool on him)

I was doodling Etho and he turned into an angel, so when I went to add Cleo she naturally had to be a demon to match him

I found paper textures to apply to my art, so here's another angel etho :)

that anon ask from earlier has me thinking about ethubs in the solar eclipse au and like. I don’t think you guys understand how tender these two make me.

bdubs was in danger at some point, and etho willingly shared his life with him. in order to save him. their very souls are connected. if one dies, so does the other. it’s part of the reason why etho sticks so close to bdubs, even if he’s just an angel. etho had no hesitation on sharing his life if it meant saving bdubs.

and rumors go around, calling the two of them married and they might as well be with the way their souls are connected. sure, they joke about it, but it’s something they’ve spoken about. and yeah, bdubs puts on this whole big act of denying the marriage claims, but etho knows the truth. they’re stuck with each other for the rest of eternity and neither of them would choose anyone else.

not to mention how in sync they are? or how they’re the perfect foils for each other? bdubs is loud and chaotic whereas etho is quiet and soothing. but don’t let that fool you, etho’s got a taste for chaos as well. but he’s just more… calculating about it. bdubs is well. bdubs.

and oh my gosh don’t even get me started on how protective they are of each other. and it’s not just because “hey we share a soul if you die I die.” no. no it’s “hey I care about you deeply and I never want to see anything or anyone ever hurt you.”
