I gotta ask, what’s the beef between Iris/Angle and Cookie? Like I get that in the show cookie was not a likable person but what’d she do to get one our favorite bringer on chaos’s shit list to the point were it’s on sight?

(Also since cookie was briefly Hazels godparent does that mean Hazel was briefly Cookies?)

I don’t rlly have any finished art abt thier beef on hand, but I did doodle some angel fits today uwu

Oh DAYUM, I hadn’t thought about the last part, actually! But yeah, I think that does make sense, since Sammy was happy enough by early high school to not need a fairy anymore, Hazel probably Initially tried to ignore her grief by getting a new assignment right away, then quickly realizing that they weren’t a good fit at all and she terribly missed her sweet little enby 😭🥺

AS FOR THE BEEF, walk with me on this one- with how apathetic Cookie was to Hazel in her episode, I think it would be a completely reasonable assumption that she would probably not gaf about misgendering people ☠️

Perry doesn’t really ‘pass’ by high school because of his curves, but is used to it to the point he would probably just brush it off.

His wildly overprotective boyfriend, however? Not so much 😂

I imagine the first time Iris overhears Cookie misgender Perry, he absolutely FLIPS OUT on her, devolving into a huge argument, but when Iris tries to SQUARE UP with Cookie to defend his bf’s honor (who was begging him to just let it go, but it was too late to calm him down lmao) I imagine Cookie would REFUSE to fight a boy, instead playing the victim and causing an even bigger scene than Iris was already causing.

This encounter would fester is the back of Iris’ head for WEEKS, and every time he saw cookie interacting with other students, he couldn’t help but be disgusted by the lack of creativity in her cruelty, if that makes sense? Aaaand once people started calling Cookie “the meanest girl in school”, Iris decided she’d HAD IT, and that title belonged to HER.

(To clarify, Iris had already been Angel on and off for most of her life, but the cookie thing was what FINALLY pushed her to socially transition, in order to ‘fight fire with fire’ and put that bitch in her place lmfaoooo )

TLDR: Cookie is pretty transphobic and also JUST as petty as Angel is, so Angel literally beefs with her for like a FULL school year before finally managing to get cookie expelled- after ‘winning’ though, Angel decides she’d doesn’t like feeling limited EITHER direction, so he goes back to being “Iris” most of the time, but now Angel is widely known about and accepted! Goldie and her friends often like to ask Angel and her bf to hang out with them at the mall uwu

I tired my hand at drawing Angel! I haven’t drawn in a while but this show gave me the motivation! Make sure to watch it when it drops on Netflix! 💙
