☺️ Angel

I might have used this exact picture with this exact editing before (I created these for a reason but then I failed to finish that oops), but that’s fine. Thanks for asking about her! She’s usually getting left behind when I talk about gen 4, but she’s important too...especially in the story that I haven’t really shown yet but I swear I’m writing it. Well. I haven’t written it in a while because of stuff but ya know. It’s on the to-do list.

In the previous canon, I put a lot of emphasis on the fact that she and Caleb were assigned a biology project when they were like thirteen and he's been crushing on her since then even though they rarely see each other (and everyone in the story was like haha idiot move on she won’t love you). But I've been thinking…and I dunno, I don't really want to go that way anymore, I find it strange that he'd be so crazy into her for five years without doing anything (and that those feelings would be so strong and stable for five years…that just doesn't feel real…comparing it to my own experience, I think if it came in some sort of “waves” it would be better). And so, they had biology together, yes, they had a project and he was crushing on her, however those feelings kinda faded, he probably briefly crushed on other girls too. In the current year, they once again have classes together and those feelings have resurfaced stronger than ever because damn, Angel grew up to be smart, good and kinda pretty in her own way. Really, what’s not to love here.

As for their story when they're in their mid 20s and trying to start a family…the basics stay the same, they’ll just eventually be executed way better and not as rushed as they were in the 2017 version: they’re boyfriend and girlfriend for a few years, then they get married and attempt to start a family but find out that they cannot (Caleb cannot, to be exact). He then pushes her away because he believes it would be better for her. Things get very awkward. He means well, but...giving up on everything ain't it buddy. (makes a lot of sense coming from me lmao)

And then Angel leaves, moves to Riverview and falls in love with Benjamin, who originally was a brand new man in her life, but in my new canon, she knew him before and they were good friends already. Part of Angel’s family actually comes from Riverview too. I think it was her dad’s side, but I’m not too sure now.

In Riverview, she gets a job at a science facility run by Benjamin’s family. She is a nurse and given by the nature of the experiments there, she’s needed there. There she also finds out that Benjamin's family actually secretly works with aliens. She even becomes friends with some of them. And even though things with her ex-husband ended up being really awkward, she's sad that he gave up on everything and wants him to be happy, even if they'll never be together again. And so she tells them to go and abduct him and…you know. 🛸 I'm playing with the idea that there was alcohol involved, or maybe she said it as a sort of joke and her alien friends took it seriously, because this seems like a Chaotic Good move to me and she's not really like that. 🤔 (to be fair, in the original gen 5 story I only included that for the ~plot twist~, I didn’t care if it was in character for her)

Moving on from the "here's how I've been overthinking the already existing canon" facts. Angel is lactose intolerant. (wow look at the contrast with all the information I’ve given so far lol)

Angel is, in many ways, kinda old school you could say, and she doesn’t change her mind easily. She doesn't force those opinions on anyone though, you do you buddy, I respect you and you respect me, as long as we don't hurt each other, it's alright. (and no, I don’t mean old school as in “oh yeah she’s racist/homophobic etc. but we just won’t say it out loud”, she’s definitely not any of those things)

Angel has four siblings - an older sister Monica, a younger brother Dominic and two younger sisters Lisbeth and Rebecca. She's closest to Monica, who is currently studying away at uni. She often comes back home though and Angel loves spending time with her. You could say that she doesn't even let her other siblings talk to her haha, they're just so close.

Angel grew up in a big family and has always wanted to have a lot of kids as well, but in the end, she wasn't lucky and she only has one son, Adam. He's her golden perfect boy, although when he said he wants a career in art, she was a little disappointed.

Heart diseases aren't uncommon in Angel's bloodline. She was lucky, but her father (who died when she was just 10) and her son weren't. (but no worries, I promise Adam is out of the worst now and when I bring gen 6 back, he'll be just fine...oh do you guys even remember he almost died before the legacy went on hiatus a year ago? I’ll really have to do a “rerun” of that part lol, it’s been so long)

She has officially outlived all of gen 4. They all died in 2018 but I got a notification for her only this year. Granted, that's because I barely open the save, but still. Even in the "story years", I imagine she's lived a loooong life.
