angel: this friendship is over, you think everything is a joke!!
raquel: knock knock
angel, huffing disappointedly: ...who's there
raquel, voice cracking: regret
sergio/raquel + being jealous
Light-Years by Queensrÿche from the album The Verdict - Director: David Brodsky
It is completely and utterly hilarious to me how hard Ángel was curved.
He and Raquel had sex, but she refused to pursue a relationship because they’re colleagues, and then goes on to date, marry, and then have a child with a colleague.
She falls in love with the most wanted bank robber of all time, and then runs away with him.
And it’s like...good for Raquel.
I don’t feel sorry for Ángel because it’s obvious she doesn’t have romantic feelings for him (or no longer does), but she does value his friendship and their working relationship. BUT, Ángel does not and he is a Nice Guy. This man is married, but is upset because Raquel is surprised, but not impressed that he knows about Andy Warhol. He’s jealous of her, a single woman, showing interest in other men. He’s MARRIED and also willing to leave his wife if Raquel says the word.
Honestly, I do believe that Raquel didn’t intent on getting with Alberto, but he’s a narcissists. They can be very charming and persuasive. He probably didn’t idolize/worship her, so she felt like a person where Ángel was probably too intense and it felt overwhelming—his feelings.
Sergio was just so nice, kind, genuine, and unassuming. She laughed and had fun with him, but could also talk to him.
But, yeah...I just laugh thinking about this married man crying (and getting drunk) to a single woman that she didn’t and wouldn’t give him a chance. And whatever happened between them had to be over 10 years ago, which makes it even more pathetic.
How they save Raquel
If not Marsella, then I believe Raquel's saving grace will be Ángel.
He's involved with the investigation, so he's going to know they have her.
And remember, he's still in love with her. And won't tolerate anything bad being done to her.
So, if he sees them treating wrongly (which they will), I think Ángel will contact Sergio somehow and tell him everything and ask for his help in saving her.
I mean, that man managed to save Tokyo while she was under arrest, while he himself was being held...
Ángel knows he has connections and friends out there who would do anything for the right price and, for Sergio, money isn't a problem either.
So, with Ángel on the inside, they will rescue Raquel.
This fine group of people is coming back to us in only a couple of weeks! And I am both anxious and excited to see what’s in store for them, hoping the best happy ending in TV is not going to get ruined.
So here, enjoy a compilation of some of the most famous thieves and their police rivals’ funniest moments while the world’s biggest robbery took place! Because a good action drama is always packed by ridiculously funny one-liners! And this one is definitely genious!
