Riverdale headcanon...
All the modern girls (at the very least) are infertile. What about Midge? The Midge we see is from 1955, same with Tabitha. But what about Toni? We have no idea if Dale is her biological child. Yes it's played by River, Vanessa's son, but IVF wasn't successful until 1978. And Dale was born in the mid to late 60s.
In my 50sdale stories I've always played with Veronica and Jughead not being able to have kids. And when I expound upon it, Fangs and Midge having a daughter is the outlier but everyone else is basically biologically childless. And everyone dies before or in 2023 when they all went back in time. They can't have kids because they can't have any descendants because the loop needs to close.
