I do wonder what would have happened if Marcus was able to turn his friend from ER who died from a hit & run. Was that in the books or was it a show only thing?

But it definitely would have been funny - you're a doctor who wanted to rest but then you're dying and then your friend turns out to be a vampire and now you're a vampire and wait, what's blood rage and the Covenant and your grandpa is about to shake things up because he's in love with a Yale professor?

like forget the whole "becoming a vampire process is pain and torture and you need to be separated from humans for months afterwards" stuff for a hot sec because you went from being an up and coming doctor/student to a member of this ancient vampire family who are always up to some bullshit

on top of that, you've got a 50/50 chance of having this AWFUL disease that makes you lose your mind and kill people if you get angry, there are other magical species out there in the world and your'e not allowed to interact with any of them, and your "grandfather" (because you're not referring to your friend as your father, vampire sire or not) is causing all sorts of shit in the magical world you only were JUST introduced to!!! man's in for a rough time

It's 2019, the Star Wars sequel trilogy ended. How does Eric Foreman feel?

Funny enough, I don’t feel equipped to answer this question because I know almost nothing about Star Wars 😂. I think I have seen most of the original movies and the prequels movies at one point, but that was decades ago. I know there have been new Star Wars movies more recently (Kylo Ren, Rey, etc) but I know even less about those. I would be interested to hear what others who know more about the franchise think Eric's reaction would be!

That said, I've had to do a bit of Star Wars research over the years when writing fanfic, and generally what I've gathered is that the Star Wars prequels (released in the 2000's) and the sequels (released in the 2010's) were received by OG fans with mixed reactions. Not totally unlike the mixed reactions from our fandom re: That '90s Show. 🤣

In my (admittedly limited) understanding, my guess is that Eric would be more of a loyalist to the OG '70s series than anything. He's one of those fans who is an encyclopedia about Star Wars - he knows all of the minutiae, the behind-the-scenes stuff, the lore. I can see him being upset by small details being off, or by certain aspects of the prequels or the sequels not jiving with his headcanons or interpretations of the characters. Given the fact that we now know that in the late '90s he worked on Skywalker Ranch with George Lucas to write a book about the prequels, I can also picture him being impartial to the George Lucas movies, and maybe thinking the JJ Abrams films aren't quite as good. I bet he is always first in line at the movie theatre on opening day, though, all the same. 😝

I mean, that's not unbelievable, I was just thinking that Coriolanus shot Billy Taupe dead and hid the corpse. And Sejanus...poor boy.

Let's just say in this AU that whole scene never happened... so Mayfair was abandoned by her new boyfriend but is still alive. Coriolanus doesn't know where Sejanus and Billy Taupe disappeared to, and hadn't known explicitly of Sejanus's treasonous plans... so he just assumes the two idiots got themselves killed.

Hopefully that makes sense :)

Kate is okay with jumping him in the shower or riding him in the storage closet.

lol I could see it happening so much. It's also my headcanon that they waited until their wedding night to have penetrative sex, because of Anthony, if it was for Kate they would have probably had their first time after she accepted his second proposal. But he's a romantic at heart, and wants to consider himself as a gentleman, so she's letting him 'win' this time.

Colin feels very College Kid Who Wants To Be Taken Seriously. I think they could work with that. Maybe him having to deal with actual responsibilities. And travel writing, writing a book (he did that in books right?) might help with that?

Or maybe him and Penelope get married and just travel everywhere until the heat dies down?

Colin is a thumb. His personality revolves around Marina and Greece. Him being in love with Marina is the only interesting thing about him.

And as a third son, he has no real responsibilities. He wrote a book about traveling, which just reiterates how boring he is. And I never got the sense that he actually wanted to write in the books.

To me, he just didn’t have anything for himself and Pen was there trying to encourage him for something. And when he got jealous of her, she told him he could write too. He did it because Pen told him to, to placate his jealousy.

In the show, they haven’t established he likes to write yet, he just writes letters home (which literally everyone does) so again, there’s no buildup to him being a writer. He’s got nothing going for him, except that he’s a bridgerton. He’s just there.

I hope Colin and Pen leave. I also hope they never come back.
