My theory/hope for the whole Colin ‘new swagger’ is that it’s totally a front. I think Pen didn’t write him back on his travels and that boy had a rough trip because of it.

Oooh that's a nice idea. Yeah true, I actually always thought the new swagger thing had to do with his look - aka those shots of him looking a very polite, well groomed pirate or something. But it also did kind of make it sound like the boy comes back with a little more confidence in the you know what department.

I really hope they weave that in though - him noticing something is wrong cause Penelope isn't writing back and they don't just sweep it under the rug like eh, happens.
