Alastor enjoyed his walk through hell. And he knew most still on earth would find that hard to believe. Most of the living still thought of hell as all fire and brimstone. “Exhausting” was a mild word that could be used to describe his day today. The Sinner had been contracted to eliminate a rather high-profile gang boss by one of his power-hungry underlings. What he hadn’t counted on was being almost executed by the underling when he went to collect his payment. Of course, he had been able to kill the minions sicked on him, then do the same to his former client, from whom he proceeded to take his payment plus the entirety of his bank account’s contents, just to rub salt on the wounds. Still, even with his pettier self satisfied, he was tired, and required some way to unwind. Luckily, he knew exactly what--or who, rather--could help.

After arriving at the brothel, Ash asked for Angel, as he always did. The pair had met about a year back when Ash had come in for a similar reason. Despite the “professional” circumstances surrounding their relationship, Ash had developed something of a rapport with the succubus. They both seemed genuinely glad to see each other, glad that they’d be keeping one another company for the night.

He sat in the lobby and waited as instructed, money in hand as the receptionist called Angel to let him know Ash was asking for him. Sitting patiently, he couldn't help but feel a subtle sense of excitement, which he often felt in Angel’s presence.
