❖ (Shit Riku does at 3am)
The holidays were around the corner once again, and it was time for another one of Cruxis’ delightful parties. There would be music, games, a gift exchange, lots of food and drink, and, due to the holiday in question, there were also bits of mistletoe festooned around the rooms.
However, that was low on Rodyle’s radar as he enjoyed the party, venturing from room to room and carrying a refill too many of a spiked eggnog. It was nice to be around the troops when they weren’t troops, when they were just people having fun on their time off. He would still have to be respectful to his bosses, of course, but it could be more casual.
Well, speak of the devil, here was one now. Lord Kratos, in all his moody glory. Perhaps he had lightened up a little, but it was difficult to say for sure one way or another. It didn't exactly help that he had so much hair in his face, either. It covered so much of his expression, and often hid as much as half his face. It was odd really, that an experienced combat fighter would keep hair in his face.
It was also a bit of a shame. Perhaps it was the alcohol talking, but he did have such nice features. Dark eyes, a strong jaw, and a well-defined nose, though not as prominent as Rodyle's own, of course.
Kratos himself was distracted, and didn't seem to notice Rodyle's slow approach. However, when he got to within a foot and didn't stop, it was much more difficult to miss him. He said something, but Rodyle was too busy scrutinizing his nose to hear him. If only he weren't so tall, he'd be able to see better. Rodyle reached around Kratos' head, and pulled him down to eye level, much to Kratos's displeasure. The taller man's discomfort only increased when Rodyle thoughtlessly kissed his nose, but at least he let go. There was a brief moment before Rodyle fully realized what he had done, after which he promptly excused himself and ran.
