As for the body, we are a parent to a beautiful two year old boy, who we occasionally post about. We are chronically ill and have chronic pain (Cyclical vomiting syndrome, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, etc), as well as mentally ill (diagnosed severe anxiety disorder plus clinical depression). I am so sorry, little love. I hate bad nightmares, and Im so sorry you had to deal with that. I find turning on a cartoon or playing sudoku my phone are good low energy ways to reset my brain. 🫶🏻

Hello again!! Wanted to ask if you have any advice for being super anxious about something? Tomorrow is my day actually doing my service learning for one of my college classes and I've never done anything like it before. I will be very brave and do my best!! But it's still lame to be so scared about it - 🦭
I have a severe anxiety disorder. I got some advice for you, kiddo.
Peppermint oil is very grounding 🌿 I personaly love peppermint and mint in general (gum, maybe a candy, etc) really helps to bring me to the present.
Remember that all things come to an end. Even the bad or scary things. There will be an end, these feelings will not last forever no matter how much it feels like it might.
I like sticky things. Not sticky, dirty but like.. I've got a rock with a particularly sharp edge that I'll push into my palm. It's not enough to harm me, but it's just like those uh.. pain fidget rings and stuff! Brings me back to the present.
Wear something tight around the chest. A compression shirt, a bra, a binder. Compression calms the nervous system! (Make sure it's not too tight, and know your limits, take it off/change the moment you need to)
And remember that you absolutely have got this, little one ♥️ It might be nerve wracking, but even facing just this fear will grow you into a beautiful person. You will be absolutely fantastic ⭐
