As for the body, we are a parent to a beautiful two year old boy, who we occasionally post about. We are chronically ill and have chronic pain (Cyclical vomiting syndrome, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, etc), as well as mentally ill (diagnosed severe anxiety disorder plus clinical depression). I also have autism.

Me and the hubby went to a free outdoor movie in our small town 🫶🏻 We got free popcorn and had a picnic on the grass with the food we brought and I brought Melody* my plushie !
We watched the first trolls movie ! I love Branch ! He's probably my favorite, but Poppy is so cute and it's so hard not to catch her energy!
*(I'll include a photo of her but I didn't get to bring her out of the bag because a group of intoxicated adults sat right behind me and were making fun of everyone very very loudly, and they commented on the way I had laid down because my back was hurting real bad so I was already self conscious )': )
Spoilers for toy story 5 🫶🏻 I have a completely different take away from this movie than Ive seen literally anyone talk about and it's driving me insane so if you want to indulge me Ive discussed below 👇🏻
I don't. Particularly understand how everyone is coming away from toy story five fully going "Yep technology is all evil and should never be touched!" when the entire point is... Balance.
The tech trio? Lilypads redemption arc? The fact that Bonnie and Blaze literally use lilypad to enhance their play, using it to play wedding music in the end and take selfies together with their toys? The drones saving the toys?
My take was way closer to balance. That tech can be helpful to make connections, but being in person and creating those personal relationships is important. Tech can bring those together that might never have met before. But without play, those connections aren't as real.
And play looks different for everyone, I really need this narrative of kids need to have these intricate stories to stop, realistic play like using objects for their purpose is also valid so is the millions of other ways kids play.
It's very bizarre to me how different my take away from the movie is from literally like everyone else's I've seen on this app, on tik tok, irl.

♡ The expectation to be like an "adult" but yet I need much more gentleness; to be spoken to in a soft voice/tone, to be gently guided, prompted, encouraged & praised for almost everything. I need immense softness, I need someone to remind me it is okay to cry and to hold me while I do so. I need someone to come to my eye level and fully acknowledge my emotions. I need to be my deeply sensitive and vulnerable self without being made to feel bad about feeling and expressing so much 🌸

This was the weekend before last but this weekend just gone we made cookies and used icing to put musical refs on them it was sooooo cool!!
We also went to go see chitty chitty bang bang it was good and I was feeling so little watching it because it's obviously for kids but yeah
We also went to pride! Id never been before so we went on Saturday and I got a free cup and I brought a trans flag fan because it was sooo hot

I'm am such a huge musical nerd it's not even funny, I don't think I post about it much on here but I used to perform too ! Going to see chitty chitty bang bang sounds heavenly honestly I don't think I've seen it in.. oh gosh probably ten years.
Ah I'm so jealous of you!! (/lh) Going to pride is my goal every year but I haven't made it a single year since covid x_x I live in a veery small town so there's nothing ever nearby but gosh darn it I'm gonna go again eventually 😂

🚂 .. doesn't really notice when he's regressed but it's rather obvious to everyone around him (especially tangerine of course)
🚂 .. tangerine is his comfort person and older brother figure
🚂 .. talks even more about thomas the tank engine but instead of wisdom and metaphors it's random plot points and character fun facts ... trails off into mindless babbling more often than not
🚂 .. gets really grouchy and whiny when he's sleepy and has to get forced into bedtime/a nap
🚂 .. sleeps better with a plastic toy instead of a plushie
🚂 .. obsessed with stickers and sticker reward charts
🚂 .. is not interested in using a paci but will definitely suck his thumb - especially if sleepy, concentrated or upset
🚂 .. since thomas the tank engine is a rather old show him and tangerine often scour ebay for old vintage toys and magazines
🚂 .. also likes other old low-stimulating shows with strong morals like bear in the big blue house or adventures of the gummi bears
🚂 .. LOVES these activity sheets you get at restaurants or long train rides (tangerine always carries crayons/colored pencils for him)
🚂 .. loves cuddling and curling up in someone's arm
I'm so so so so excited so I'm back in my hometown this weekend(we come every weekend until August bc my little stepsister is gonna live with us yay) but basically on Sunday I'm staying at my friend's house and they know I age regress so if I do they won't be weirded out and I won't have to hide it!!
I'm very very happy as well bc they like cooking and I like cooking to! And they are a trans guy like me and yayyyy I haven't seen them in ages!!

It sounds awesome that you get to go back to your hometown and your lil stepsis moving in is amazing! Funny enough, my mom is moving back to mine so I'll be going back to my own hometown pretty soon! 🫶🏻
It's disability pride month and I think it's super important to remember that not all disabilities are visible ! We aren't any less disabled just because you can't see it!
