book: the dangerous art of blending in by angelo surmelis.
damn. i don’t think i have ever related to words more. A LOT of the time “i just want it to be like before” because “i don’t want to be the gay son.” (i also don’t want to have to hide my true self, but being out in the open is so uncomfortable at home even if your family is tolerant. this is why i want to move far away. why i have so many new york dreams)
it’s like this scene was literally stolen from journal/diary.... wow. i love this book, now a little more than halfway through. THANK YOU ANGELO SURMELIS💗
[new york dreams:: do i see a poem title?? ooh im gonna play with this concept tonight!]
