"You are a Ground specialist! Teach me all about Paldea-specific ground types!"
“14 lines in total means we don’t have many, but they’re all unique in their strengths. Most of them are not the best at battling, but a true specialist can make even the slowest and most frail pokemon into forces to be reckoned with. We have our native Paldean wooper and Clodsire, the Garchomp line, and the Tyranitar line which is ground for two of its stages rounding out our heaviest hitters. Next comes the Gastrodon line, Donphan line, Pallossand line, Dugtrio line, Camerupt line, Whiscash line, and then the convergent Toedscruel line, as well as the Hippowdon and Krookodile lines, tailed by the Mudsdale and Sandaconda lines.”
“You can find most of these in the Asado desert or in the swamp south of Levincia, but what they lack in sheer force they make up for in strategy. Most of our ground types have a secondary typing that adds to their moves and destructive capabilities, Clodsire for instance is part poison type, and prefers staggering its opponents with toxic poison to a full frontal assault- Those little paws are goin’ nowhere fast!! Not to mention Water just slips right off his back with his body being coated in that poisonous film, it just heals him!”
“The local ground types have had a lot of time to adapt to their surroundings and they do it well, and while we don’t have many in number, we certainly do in Adorable little guys with squishy bodies… Also i’m not the best teacher, I dunno what you were expecting. That’s Hassle’s job.”
