i recognize that there aren't a lot of good poc/queer characters in media but i don't understand what point it's gonna make getting angry about it
Addendum to previous equestrian post...
I posted previously questioning the validity of "sport" behind equestrian events. In that small post that I cast aside I have realized I have insulted/offended/bothered a good number of people.
I did not mean to hurt anyone's feelings or "piss people off" in questioning the sportsmanship of the event but instead of explaining the sportsmanship of the rider (equestrian) I have just received angry/hateful rants. In my post I was meaning to express that I wished the horses received more credit seeing as they do a lot of work at the behest of the rider and I feel they are athletes in their own right.
So for the equestrians who read/reblogged my previous post again I am sorry if it hurt your feelings but do not go around condemning me or reflecting me in a false light of malice which was not my intent. As I said in the previous post I respect the rider for what they do, though I did not list in detail all that it entails. Do no assume you know anything about me just as I will reflect on my post and make sure to no longer assume the rigors of sport.
I honestly wish you and your horses all the best in your practices which you all are clearly passionate about.
Sincerely I hope you have a great life.
