holy fuck, in any musical??? that’s really hard omg. i think i’m gonna have to do a top five because otherwise i’ll never get this done
the ballroom scene/ten minutes ago (cinderella)
if i loved you reprise (carousel)
the wicked witch of the east (wicked)
i’m afraid i’m rather boring but there we go
carrie!!! i’ve sort of unintentionally become a carrie expert, i’d seen the sissy spacek movie because of course it’s a classic but i decided to dip my toes into the story a little further and somehow i ended up reading the book, watching all three movie adaptations, and getting into the musical before i’d even realized what happened. and even though when i talk about the musical i’m mostly talking about the 2012 revival which was not so much of a flop as the original, i still have some good things to say about the 1980s one (mainly that “i remember how those boys could dance” was more compelling in a higher octave ((though it’s still great)), and the “god has seen your sinning” during the destruction is kick ass). i’m not much of a director, but honestly, one of my dreams is to direct the show at some point, somewhere.
that was practically a novel i’m sorry i’m just very passionate about carrie
honorable mention flops include jekyll and hyde & bonnie and clyde
32. A role you’d like to see your favorite actor play
idk if i really have a definite favorite actor, so i don’t know if i can answer this properly, but i will say that i am very vocal about how i need laura osnes to play every rodgers and hammerstein leading lady, and she has yet to do oklahoma! and i’d want her to play laurey, and eventually i hope she’ll get to play anna in the king and i but as of now she’s still quite a young, ingenue type so she doesn’t quite fit YET but there you go
