How to Forgive Someone Who Has Hurt You | YOUTUBE
Celine didn’t make promises often, but she made one to Rumi’s father.
It was at the beginning of it all. He was a strange ally that they were hesitantly starting to rely on. She didn’t like him as much as Miyeong already did but…. He was someone she was beginning to trust.
It was a fight and a chaotic one. He’d been to her right but she hadn’t noticed he’d teleported away to help the others. She saw the patterned arm in the corner of her eye, she didn’t react at first or quick enough.
They managed to end the fight quickly after and the girls dragged her away for medical attention only for him to show up later. It took him only a few seconds to realize why Celine got so hurt and he was incensed.
He put his hand up to the injury and said. “Never. Hesitate again.” She tried to say something. “no Cece. Trust me. If it was me I’d be able to get out of the way and if not I don’t care. Don’t flinch during a battle cause you might hurt me because that fo it could Kill you.”
She promised and she knows he weaseled out the same promise from the others. He didn’t ask for much. He was a quiet man, thoughtful and hid his care behind service. She tried to ignore the mirror in the room.
She couldn’t save him, any of them. Couldn’t even arrange for a burial of her almost something. She kept that promise.
Later on she would think how foolish it was. How foolish they all had been. No idea of how their actions would change everything and they’d be left fumbling.
madney buddie double date where no one except maddie realizes that it's a double date. she makes chim hire a sitter for the night and he's like :/ it's just buck and eddie in our backyard, what's the big deal, and maddie is like No just work with me on this please and he's like :) okay <3 and so they get a sitter and buck drives eddie over to their house, and they're all having dinner together until she finds a reason to leave them alone in the backyard with the stars and the string lights and a iron & wine song playing from a bluetooth speaker like the end of Twilight and she's watching from the kitchen window and suddenly chimney comes out of the bathroom and he's like What are we watching and she points at them and he is like 😲 whoa
And how do we forgive ourselves? Mostly we don't. Mostly we pretend to forget.
