I just finished reading this absolutely riveting book for my book club, The Hate U Give by @angiethomas. I swear, I did not want to put it down. Her story about a young woman named Starr was very real, and spoke with a powerful voice that everyone should take notice of. I appreciate this book very much for a small glimpse of a world I know very little about. It's not just a YA novel, as it touches on current events in main street America today.
