It is rare that I would recommend a book this highly and to such a broad audience but trust me, it will impact you no matter who you are. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas @angiethomas is a must read; I can't emphasize this enough. Check out a copy from your local Public library, also available as a downloadable audio book (such as the one pictured), e-book online through your TPL Pathway card (aka your school ID).
