Unforgettable. Put it on your Adventure List. @dkeanephotography As tranquil as this image looks I was actually standing in a crowd of maybe 150 people, all vying to get "The Shot". After waking in the middle of the night and making the 40 minute journey into Angkor Park, I expected to have the place more or less to myself. Imagine my horror when I crossed the moat and through the gates of Angor Wat only to see hundreds of people gathered in front of my carefully researched shot location. Not being deterred however, using my tripod as a battering ram I pushed my way through the crowd and reached a decent location. Of course once people saw the tripod they all assumed that this must be the best place to get a photo from and I only managed to get off a handful of bursts before the selfie sticks blocked my view completely, but at least I came away with this shot. ******* My advice for Angkor at sunrise is to avoid Angkor Wat and visit some of the less popular but equally beautiful other temples.
