This is pretty rad! Repost from @lie_chee • A little behind the scenes process of my Horror Ariel. The corals might be a bit uncomfortable for people with strong Trypophobia so maybe don’t look too close there, but I hope it’s still fine. 🙈 I sculpted the face prosthetics using foam clay which I painted with acrylics and body paint after it was dry. The corals, sea shells etc. are made from very light weight air drying clay and there’s an actual LED inside the lantern on my forehead. For the final look I covered the tail, wig and myself in a lot of dirt and moss and I needed help from my friend @rayigram because with those nails and webbing it was impossible to get in there myself. 😂🙏 This was one of the most fun things I did this year and it was part of the gore challenge for CosSLAY! Happy Spooktober! 😎🎃 #halloweencostume #horrormakeup #specialmakeupeffects #makeupeffects #anglerfishmakeup https://www.instagram.com/p/CVFrOrvFXup/?utm_medium=tumblr
