I’ll be honest-I’ve taken a long vacation away from any kind of blogging after this horse’s sire, dam, and some other horses all died within a very short period of time. Just went inside myself and haven’t been able to come back out. A lot of people have told me that they’ve done that and I haven’t understood. I do now. This much pain and loss is just overwhelming. I am, however, going to just FORCE myself to come out. I see that it isn’t a question of ‘waiting until the right time’-because there is no right time. If I don’t-I won’t.

So as Snoopy says in Peanuts-Cowabunga! It’s either that or get rid of her and five other, sell everything, and move to town-and none of that is going to happen. Wish me luck, may the horses stay with me, and whatever else you might think of. This is going to be like starting from scratch-kinda. I know what I’m in for-after 50+ years, I should. It’s just that most of the people I used to ride with have either quit or are dead. Got to find new ones or do this alone.
