If you get a question about your relationship with Ango, you will quickly answer with "We're just friend, or Colleagues if you may consider" then try to change the topic. But in reality? Both of you still unsure about your relationship. Yes, you have ever been on date with the man. Although the whole date just you figuring out how to open up a conversation. Still, both of you keeping the feeling for each other. But there's so many factors that would harm your relationship (including his job, of course).
This kind of love story is the one where you want to stand from your seat, then shout out that confessing and dating isn't that hard to do. But here you are, getting trapped in those kind of love story you often saw in soap opera.
Sitting alone on a cafe never as stressful as now. Even if it's in the middle of summer, the room feels oddly cold. And the iced Frappuccino worsen the cold. It's a good thing (if) you're using jacket while you're waiting for him to come.
Everytime someone entered the cafe, you lift up your head to see, hoping it was him. And no, it was another person. You took your phone, looking at the two messages that haven't been read by Ango. Is he really serious about this date? You shook your head, still hoping for him to come.
"Where are you?" [11:00 am]
"Isn't it your day off? [11:00 am]
You huffed, started to feel hopeless. Turning off the phone and put it down.
Ding!
You quickly turned on your phone again. Only to get disappointed by another notification, no reply from him.
After a few more minutes, you gave up. Still, there's no reply yet from that man. You decided to pay for your drink and leave the cafe, then take a random stroll by yourself around the city. And it seems like the luck goddess wasn't on your side, because everytime you walk, there's at least one couple who's romancing or giggling at each other's corny jokes. It's not even valentine day, you lovey dovey couple! You thought.
No, you don't hate them entirely. You're just envy, if only it was that easy...
A pain started to spread on your chest, no, you weren't get stabbed. You don't even know what happened until a tear drips from your left eye. It taste salty on your mouth when a drop of tear got into your mouth.
"You know I hate it when you cry, right?"
A thumb wiped your tears from your eyes, you knew it. It was the same, warm finger that he use when he runs his hands on your hair. "Y-you..." Your words got cut by a sobs again, Ango huffed. "Say whatever you want about me, the answer is still the same. I love you, dear," he rubs your back, trying his best to comfort you.
"The traffic wasn't at it's best condition, but I managed to bought your favorite food," your cries stopped, looking at the paper bag on his hand. You thought Ango didn't remember your favorite food, but here he is buying one of your favorite things in the world.
"You remember!?"
"Well, I am."
You sobs again, and hug him tightly. "Aaangoo... I'm sorry for leaving the cafe too soon, I'm sorry for having a bad idea about you leaving meee..." you started to apologizing. Meanwhile, since you hug Ango in public, it made his face turns into red.
"I- y-"
"Alright, I know where should we go first!"
