even though i know basically nothing about ASL, i still agree that people should respect the language, even when it comes to cosplay u//m//u the same applies to kurloz cosplays, as well…

i think kurloz uses a different country's sign language, because american sign language doesn't use two hands (but, for instance, new zealand does and i think the british do too?? maybe it's just kurloz being kurloz tho) to finger spell

and really if they want to be canon, so far she only uses finger spelling to communicate

but sign language is all about setting up a scene and acting upon it, making gestures to correspond with the signs and not so much signing in a typically correct english grammatical structure

for instance if one were to say "i'm going to school" the signs would actually be more along the lines of "school, there, me, go"
